Abivale veterinary groups main business objective is to extort their customers. They claim to deliver a high quality, good value service. This is not the case, they deliver an adequate service at extortionate rates. See attached picture for Abivale prices vs average market prices. On average Abivale charge 7-8 times more than alternative suppliers for medication, then charge £20 per prescription if you go else where. For large treatments/procedures that run in to the £hundreds, they're prices can be 2-3 times more. Additionally, Abivale slip hidden charges in to most of the bills and live on the principle that the customer will be covering the cost under their insurance, so they do not need to offer competitive prices, as they clearly have no consideration for pet or owner. As someone who has experienced this first hand on a number of occasions during my visits to Abivale, I strongly recommend that anybody looking for a vet do not register with this veterinary group.
