General Info
Here at Cambrian Vets, everything we do is rooted in our dedication to the wellbeing of animals. We are a dedicated small animal veterinary surgery, family run and independent, because this gives us the best opportunity to put you and your pets first.
We have surgeries in Tywyn and Machynlleth. Both surgeries have fully equipped consulting rooms, kennels and operating theatres with digital radiography, in house laboratory and dental facilities. We also provide blood pressure monitoring, ECG, ultrasound and endoscopy services.
We carry out our own 24 hour emergency service to ensure continuity of care even out of normal working hours. This means that you will be able to speak to and see the same friendly, efficient staff with whom you and your pet normally deal.

Its so reassuring when i come in as 'worried cat owner' and you refer to her by name and not 'the cat', you know our pets are just as important as people to us and this is a huge comfort when one of our family isnt well. Excellent veterinary practice, exceptionally caring and friendly staff, and clean, modern facilities. Examinations are unrushed and very thorough.They really take the time to get to know you and your pet.
Highly recommended. Best vet practice in the area. My dog isn't even scared of it. She wouldn't walk on the ROAD our old practice was on, but will voluntarily go through the door here (then give the receptionist kisses). Absolutely worth travelling to.
