General Info
The emergence of Arrowfield Veterinary Practice Ltd occured in September 2013. With the planned phased retirement of Arrowfield Veterinary Group's sole owner John Dennis, two of the long standing employed Vets, Paul Buckingham & Wendy Phillips took the opportunity to buy out the practice under an employee owned business model more familiarly associated with the John Lewis Partnership. We are proud to be the first veterinary practice to have adopted employee ownership as a means of business succession.
Our structure values and encourages full employee participation in the day to day running of the practice and rewards the loyalty and professionalism of our whole team.
For us, employee ownership means a shared responsibility and commitment to the animals entrusted to our care and to the service we provide for our clients, both owners and farm businesses alike; 'Healthy animals and Happy clients'.

A extremely tough and emotional 24hrs for us here but Theo is still with us. All thanks to a fantastic vet and amazing veterinary nurses. Theo had managed to swallow my tapestry needle. It had lodged in his larynx. Without there care I'm sure it would've been a different outcome. Thank you everyone. Xxx

Well I have to say with a very touch and go situation with my bitch Star and her whelping - I could not have had a better service or interaction with a vet and staff! WENDY and the team provided quality care, with emergency team pulling together! 10 puppies, 1 in tact Star..... I can not thank you enough!!

I've heard a few friends complain about their animals being misdiagnosed here but I didn't really realise just how much this practice is money driven. I brought my dog in last weekend, he was clearly ...
I've heard a few friends complain about their animals being misdiagnosed here but I didn't really realise just how much this practice is money driven. I brought my dog in last weekend, he was clearly very poorly and the vet insisted it was an infection and sent him off with steroids after being listed the costs which they felt was more important than the treatment. I approached another vets for a second opinion and within minutes they had diagnosed liver failure and put my dog on fluids. The next day we unfortunately had to make the decision to have him put to sleep. The ordeal of being told it's an infection which is obviously curable would build anyone's hope up, to then be told it's terminal was absolutely devastating. The way this practice dealt with my dogs illness is completely unprofessional and has caused a lot more upset than ever imagined.

I would like the thank the nurse who advised me to get a pharmone collar for my dog who had started running off at any sudden noises, the last straw was the low flying jets which he has heard since he was a pup and been ok with . Since putting the collar on he is so much more chilled.

Myself and my husband sadly had to have our beautiful family dog podge put to sleep on Friday. Very sad for us but Chloe the vet who dealt with us could not have been nicer. We have also received a beautiful card with his paw print on the front and a lovely message inside. Thank you, we will cherish it forever

Fabulous Practice! A1 care, support and advice. Special big thanks to Paul, as always, for all his help over the years with our herd of alpacas and to Beth this year who has been so great with them too. Their combined efforts put right a pregnant lady's uterine torsion and she went on to have a healthy, bouncing beautiful male cria named Mozart. Thanks to everyone at Arrowfield for doing a great job x

Well I have to say with a very touch and go situation with my bitch Star and her whelping - I could not have had a better service or interaction with a vet and staff! WENDY and the team provided quality care, with emergency team pulling together! 10 puppies, 1 in tact Star..... I can not thank you enough!!

I've heard a few friends complain about their animals being misdiagnosed here but I didn't really realise just how much this practice is money driven. I brought my dog in last weekend, he was clearly very poorly and the vet insisted it was an infection and sent him off with steroids after being listed the costs which they felt was more important than the treatment.
