I will not and will never recommend this veterinary practice to anyone.
I was a customer for nearly 20 years. Most if not all of my concerns about my pet were regularly dismissed. There was no follow-up on concerns. I was brushed off repeatedly by a rather rapid turnaround of vets (almost a new batch of vets every year). I was told that the lumps were benign and that she was howling out of attention. No push for testing or a more thorough check-up as they, the staff, seemed more concerned about staying on schedule and keeping patient turnaround times short. You go by what a professional tells you and I will forever regret not doing more for my pet. It took a trainee vet on placement from university to notice something was seriously wrong. There was no compassion or tact by the staff regarding the way news was delivered to me and I urge you, dear reader, to trust your intuition and seek out advice from other practices, if you are ever in doubt.

Since I moved to Scotland I have always used this surgery. I now live on one of the islands and travel over when I need to have my pets looked at. They have always been fantastic, both with the animals and with the owner. Even when the news is not the news you want they help so much. I would recommend any of the vets, nurses and other staff here to anyone. They are absolutely fantastic.

I took Bonnie for her 1st jag and microchiped the vet was very helpful and explained everything clearly and told me about the pet plan, I would recommend them to my friends

Kilbarchan vets are the best. Cath Wilson is the greatest vet I have ever met. Her confidence and caring nature ooses out of her and puts animals at ease - even my scaredy cat! In fact all the vets there are great. That's why I travel past three other Veterinary practices to get there. They're not shockingly overpriced either and don't try to force you to buy additional products. Highly recommend.

Awful vets, would not recommend to anyone, ever! On 2 separate instances they haven't cared about the wellbeing of 2 different dogs, both of whom I'm associated with. Looking into leaving formal complaints regarding this surgery, absolutely shocking that they're just getting away with it. Only interested in the money they can get by pushing tablets & doing extra tests etc, not listening to our concerns regarding our own pets!!

Awful vet practice, would not recommend them to anyone, ever!! Had two separate occasions on which I'm referring to. Both involving dogs. So just be careful if you use them as they almost killed my dog putting him on tablets he didn't need to be on then saying he had 24 hours to live he's fine btw since I took him off the tablets & changed vets funnily enough he's still alive over a year & a half later & just recently they missed a dislocated knee on my papa's dog, after my dad pointed it out to them!! Cost an absolute fortune for all the tablets, medication, x-rays etc & they never actually helped either dog!!

Great Vets. Friendly Vets and veterinary nurses. Most Receptionists. Karen is very nice person but there is a new one who is not so nice at all. Fairly good wheelchair access but is one or two small steps but I'm sure the staff would be more than happy to help except maybe the one that is not so plesent. Once in its all on the one level. Not sure about public toilets.

I will not and will never recommend this veterinary practice to anyone.
I was a customer for nearly 20 years. Most if not all of my concerns about my pet were regularly dismissed. There was no follow-up on concerns. I was brushed off repeatedly by a rather rapid turnaround of vets (almost a new batch of vets every year). I was told that the lumps were benign and that she was howling out of attention. Since I moved to Scotland I have always used this surgery. I now live on one of the islands and travel over when I need to have my pets looked at. They have always been fantastic, both with the animals and with the owner. Even when the news is not the news you want they help so much. Kilbarchan vets are the best. Cath Wilson is the greatest vet I have ever met. Her confidence and caring nature ooses out of her and puts animals at ease - even my scaredy cat! In fact all the vets there are great. That's why I travel past three other Veterinary practices to get there.
