I can't thank the team at the Tain branch enough for their help in the last 2 weeks. Sadly my baby boy Chester was found at the side of the road after being hit by a car. I took Chester in for them to take care of him being cremated. From the beginning to the very end they were so considerate and caring (even with some of my strange requests). I had the task on Tuesday of taking my best pal jampa on his last trip to see Lucy. I could not have asked for better. Anna as always was welcoming and warm as always. Lucy treated both the dog and myself with the upmost dignity, empathy and compassion required for the worst task on earth. Today I got a sympathy card from all the staff involved. Baxter had his wee op on Monday to get neutered and also have two teeth extracted. Janet, Stella and everyone else know how emotional I get when my wee man has so much as an off day so they were all fantastic and phoned me to keep me updated. I run Inverness Beagle Walks and i would like to thank every one at Easter Ross Vets both staff and customers. On Wednesday a beagle went missing up Fyrish whilst on holiday. On Thursday I spent the day in the car park asking everyone to keep an eye out and I was amazed how many people knew about him because they had seen the poster on Easter Ross Vets Facebook page and had come up just to look for him. A big thank you to Paco and his team for being there for me and Clover my Beagle yesterday. Clover had two fits, never had one before and it was so frightening, I panicked but when I rang Easter Ross vets the lovely ladies there calmed me down and got me in with Clover to see Paco who as usual was his calm and professional self. Vet El was fantastic with her and us- needless to say we were very upset to learn Fern had a "doggy stroke". Took our 11 year old spaniel Poppy down to Easter Ross Vets, with a fish hook stuck in her mouth, they were brilliant! :-) She had it quite deeply embedded, as she kept trying to eat it. I phoned at 8.30am and was seen just after 9am. Lucy and Mandy were great. Poppy had to be sedated, and I picked her up in the late afternoon, all recovered. She was micro chipped at the same time.
