Over the past 13 years Our golden girl, Canty has been cared for by Shetland vets. On her arrival in Shetland as a puppy her first stop was with Jim at Bixter to be checked over and since then she has been cared for by the practice. Over the years she has met most of the staff at all of the surgeries and the care and attention could not have been better. I am sad to say that last week she made her last visit but had come to the end of her travels. All of the staff have been great but I have to say a special thank you to Jim and Colin for their care on numerous visits. Read Less

Want to say a big thank you to Jim Nicolson who drove all the way to scalloway vets last night for 10.30 after I had to phone the emergency vet number after my dog started having suspected epileptic seizures. He did a great job with my dog and soon managed to help him relax with some medication. He answered every question I had to ask about the possibilities of epilepsy and what to do at what was a very scary time for us having never experienced that before. I have always been pleased with the work all the people do at the vets from the receptionists to the vets. Grand job folk. Thank you for all you do. Read Less
