I was devastated when my Jack Russell got to close to the tires of a van. With blood all over him and me unable to assess the damage, I called border vets and they told me to rush him over. Rui was waiting at the door and starting the assessment before I can even enter the door. Despite the fact that I could not thing straiight, he helped explain to us the exact damage - a broken jaw. He worked with us to heal his broken jaw and ensure there was no more damage. Fast forward 2 months and my Buddy is nipping at my feet, enjoying snuggles and back to his old self - sans a new dimple which makes him look even cuter. I have always been a fan of Border Vets but this bought it to a whole new level. The whole crew there made everything easier and made my dog comfortable. Read Less

Horribleness magnified. I called to ask if border vets could see my pooch. He was throwing up and not drinking. I stipulated on the phone before I went that I could not pay anything that day (this due to end of month poorness). I was told to bring my dog in regardless of funding issues. Ken the vet lookex at.my dog and said he needed blood tests and antibiotics.... OK... Antibiotics for what??. However, the receptionist(Jane) told me in no uncertain terms in reception in front of customers that I owed £130.00 which had to be paid on the spot or they would not run the blood they had taken from my dog?. Humiliated I left mustering what dignity I had left. I duly called and spoke to a lady who assured me that she was running the bloods?. I have called and no response. No results and no explanation as to why my dog was put on antibiotics. Summation... Border vets don't care about animals. They care about cash. Take your pet anywhere but there. Read Less
