Pearl vets are really great with our pets and they cater for all our animals which include 2x hamsters 4x rats and 2x dogs. Our little JRT normally has to be muzzled when being messed about with but here she is a totally different dog with no muzzle on. Great staff. Took my Doberman Jake for his boosters and a health check last week. We were late due to some roadworks so I called from the car expecting them to say you've missed your slot and they said don't worry about it we will still see him when you get here. Then Jake went and wee'd on the reception floor due to nerves and the girl was really nice and mopped it up. The vet was great with Jake and he didn't even notice the needle had gone in! When leaving we waited in the next room and the girl came and got us when the coast was clear! Very caring and accommodating! Read Less

Everyone who knows my boyfriend and I, know that our dogs are our world! Bertie Brassington has had no end of trouble with his front right leg and has been lame pretty much since his 1st birthday. Dr Bedford and all the staff at Pearl Vets looked after him as though he was their own and that to us is priceless! Although Bertie's bad leg is still a mystery to be solved I would always praise this practice and will never look to go anywhere else in the future. Serge, my terrier has a slipped disk and as such has paralysis of his hindquarters. Having phoned up that morning the receptionists were most helpful and Dr Bedford saw us immediately that morning - he is high demand so this in itself meant a lot. We found Dr Bedford and his manner calming and informative, particularly given how concerned we were (a lot of crying). Dr Bedford performed surgery that day and phoned me the same afternoon to let me know how it had gone. To omit a lot of detail here and save writing the entire story, I will attempt to articulate my gratitude and sincere affection that I now have for Dr Bedford and his team. He absolutely and without any doubt has saved my little dog. Dr Bedford is unfathomably modest but I must reiterate to anyone reading this that his experience and his knowledge is without rival (and we have had many pets over the years and had much experience) and his evident compassion for animals and their well being left me in no doubt that Serge could not have been in a better place or in better hands. The nurses, with particular focus on Laura whom Serge became particularly fond, these girls were informed and informative, they were naturally kind and patient to me and to Serge and I cannot thank them enough for their efforts and their commitment to what they do. The receptionist also, who were continually reliable in keeping me informed of Serge's progress and were always polite and professionally, even at very evidently busy times. Perhaps I sound all praise and no fault, but in two weeks of Serge being there I could not fault anyone at Pearl once and nor would I want too, I think my words cannot do service to Dr Bedford and his talents, because truly that is what they are. I recommend them openly and shall continue to do so. I hope that all customers will treat the nurses and the vets with the respect they deserve, I could not fault them. I have recently started using Pearl Vets and I can't recommend them enough. My Westie is an old girl now with many complex ongoing conditions. The team at Pearl are always caring and make such a fuss of her, she actually enjoys visiting. On our recent visit she had to stay for a scan and further blood tests, they took special care of her, the vet called me and explained everything once the results were complete. I felt very reassured that she was being very well cared for and slept well knowing my baby was safe and sound with around the clock care. It was so much easier to relax knowing she wasn't left alone overnight, Pearl provide 24/7 care. An amazing service where they go that extra mile providing a service like home. Read Less

I have been coming here for nearly 2 years now, with my Dashund X border terrier (pepper) my adopted dog (fleur) from Jodie's Cyprus dogs rehoming and now my kitten (Harley) the pet plan that they offer really does help as all the costs are covered for vaccinations, worming, fleeing and their annual health check. It means I don't have to stress about how to pay for things as its paid for monthly; and so therefore already paid in advance All staff have been friendly and helpful and always very welcoming.
