General Info
At Haygate Veterinary Centre, your pets are our priority. We offer the highest quality small animal healthcare, with a full range of routine veterinary services also including orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound scanning and acupuncture as well as providing a range of preventative healthcare clinics.
The practice has surgeries convenient for all parts of the Telford area: Wellington, Madeley, Muxton and Oakengates. This avoids having to travel far and lets us give a personal service, but still allows access to the comprehensive facilities and expertise of a large modern practice.
All surgeries have excellent parking immediately adjacent and are handy for public transport. A linked computer system allows access to records at all of our clinics, which means appointments can be booked and payments made at any centre. My mum and I would like to say a heartfelt 'thank you' for the outstanding treatment you provided when we brought our boxer boy Humphrey in yesterday. From the two lovely nurses waiting for us who carried him in and looked after him to the excellent vet (I can't remember her name) who was caring and very professional. Sadly, Humphrey was in heart failure and had to be put to sleep but this was handled with compassion and empathy throughout. My mum and I are devastated at our loss but letting him go was the right decision and your kindness and professionalism made it easier to deal with.

I have been using Haygate vets for the past two years, I have adopted two rescue cats freddie & Sophie. Unfortunately Sophie was diagnosed with an inoparable polyp fortunately which can be treated with steriods & antibiotics.Fabio a senior vet at the surgery made the diagnosis and has since treated her. I am so pleased with all the consultations that have been carried out and treatment given by Fabio. I never have to worry about sophies condition as all of the team are very kind and understanding. Norma,Becky & Liz on reception are very professional but have a very warm manner also. I would recommend this practice to anyone with sick pets. Well done to all the team.

I have been using Haygate vets since I moved to Telford 5 years ago. Throughout that period all the service we have received has been exceptional. My dog Dylan has had to have two tumours removed. His surgery was undertaken by Fabio who spent plenty of time making sure we understood what the options and treatment involved. The first tumour was benign but unfortunately Dylans recent tumour was malignant and he is now having chemo.I am pleased to say Dylan is doing fine in hims...elf but the care he has received from Haygate is outstanding. Everyone we meet at the surgery is so caring. Particular mention to the reception staff, Liz and Norma who welcome Dylan as if he was their own pet on his numerous visits. This makes it so much easier to get Dylan to the vet when all the staff support us so well. I am extremely grateful to EVERYONE at Haygate and would happily recommend anyone to take their much loved pets here. See More

We have been using Haygate for many years and have always received an excellent service from them. Recently our pet dog had to have surgery which Fabio and the team dealt with brilliantly. All of the team are kind, caring and professional at all times. They really do care for your pet as if it's their own. They provided us with all the information we needed about the operation & aftercare. They reassured us and our pets aftercare has been first class. We would have no hesitation of recommending them to anyone needing vetinary assistance.

To all the staff at Haygate in Madley. My beloved kitty Boo had to be helped over the rainbow bridge on Friday. After trying for the last 6 weeks to stabilise her condition it became obvious on Friday that prolonging her life was not in the best interests of her tiny fragile body. Simon, Helen and all the people who helped Boo and helped me as I was so uncontrollably upset thank you. From the bottom of my heart I know all my animals when they come to you are taken care of and looked after as if they were your own. I have no doubts we did the right thing and she is now happy and pain free but your compassion will be with me forever. Thank you so very very much.

What was a very stressful 11 week process of mending my cat, Susie's 4 broken bones in her foot with pins, she has now had the all clear and is fully recovered. I can't speak highly enough of her treatment at this practice. Everyone was very caring to my cat and did everything possible to keep her comfortable and calm during her operation and initial 4 day stay and on the subsequent visits to check on progress and second op to remove pins.

We have been using Haygate Veterinary practice for about 9 years. While sometimes we have had less than positive experiences i.e often we seemed to experience a stream of different locums, and we were recently charged 29 for a loose nail to be pulled off in a 10 second consult, there is also a great vet who is the main reason we still take our 3 dogs there. We always try to see Fabio as he takes the time to discuss properly, is compassionate and passes on invaluable knowledge and tips. 1 year ago my Springer Cocker cross almost lost his sight to neurogenic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (neurogenic KCS). A very rare condition which was difficult to diagnose. Fabio took the time to discuss and listen to my researched views and alongside his expertise I am happy to say that Jobidy is now 100% cured via quite unconventional treatment. Other vets at the practice would not have done the same and I dread to think what might have happened had Fabio not dealt with this case.

We left this practice about a year ago because they wrongly diagnosed one of our dogs, gave us medication that was not right for the weight of our dog, I even questioned whether or not the vet was a fully qualified vet or not at the time needless to say we have now moved vets. Yesterday I go to visit a friend who has just had the most terrible experience with the company that you would not believe, I'm not going to tell you about it but I will make sure that she posts it for all to see

My mum and I would like to say a heartfelt 'thank you' for the outstanding treatment you provided when we brought our boxer boy Humphrey in yesterday. We have been using Haygate for many years and have always received an excellent service from them. Recently our pet dog had to have surgery which Fabio and the team dealt with brilliantly. All of the team are kind, caring and professional at all times. They really do care for your pet as if it's their own. They provided us with all the information we needed about the operation & aftercare. They reassured us and our pets aftercare has been first class. We would have no hesitation of recommending them to anyone needing vetinary assistance.

To all the staff at Haygate in Madley. My beloved kitty Boo had to be helped over the rainbow bridge on Friday. After trying for the last 6 weeks to stabilise her condition it became obvious on Friday that prolonging her life was not in the best interests of her tiny fragile body. Simon, Helen and all the people who helped Boo and helped me as I was so uncontrollably upset thank you. From the bottom of my heart I know all my animals when they come to you are taken care of and looked after as if they were your own. I have no doubts we did the right thing and she is now happy and pain free but your compassion will be with me forever. Thank you so very very much.

What was a very stressful 11 week process of mending my cat, Susie's 4 broken bones in her foot with pins, she has now had the all clear and is fully recovered. I can't speak highly enough of her treatment at this practice. Everyone was very caring to my cat and did everything possible to keep her comfortable and calm during her operation and initial 4 day stay and on the subsequent visits to check on progress and second op to remove pins.

We have been using Haygate Veterinary practice for about 9 years. While sometimes we have had less than positive experiences i.e often we seemed to experience a stream of different locums, and we were recently charged 29 for a loose nail to be pulled off in a 10 second consult, there is also a great vet who is the main reason we still take our 3 dogs there. We always try to see Fabio as he takes the time to discuss properly, is compassionate and passes on invaluable knowledge and tips. 1 year ago my Springer Cocker cross almost lost his sight to neurogenic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (neurogenic KCS). A very rare condition which was difficult to diagnose. Fabio took the time to discuss and listen to my researched views and alongside his expertise I am happy to say that Jobidy is now 100% cured via quite unconventional treatment. Other vets at the practice would not have done the same and I dread to think what might have happened had Fabio not dealt with this case.

We left this practice about a year ago because they wrongly diagnosed one of our dogs, gave us medication that was not right for the weight of our dog, I even questioned whether or not the vet was a fully qualified vet or not at the time needless to say we have now moved vets. Yesterday I go to visit a friend who has just had the most terrible experience with the company that you would not believe, I'm not going to tell you about it but I will make sure that she posts it for all to see
