I find they are the best vets in Whitchurch,they treat you as a part of there family,just like the animals they treat.No problem is to small for them.I have been having problems with my Tara Bethan now for 3 years,each time they are helpful and advise me of any treatment that they intend to do for her.They even took her home with them so she wasn't left alone when the practice was shut for the weekend,they are very caring,even the receptionists are very polite and courteous,they were very sympathetic when I had to have my cats put to sleep.nothing is too much trouble for them.I have no problem in recommending them to anyone at all that is looking for a decent vets.who have wonderful manners,even the receptionist treat you with care and make you feel so welcome,they treat you as a part of the family,even the animals are treated like a big part of the family,so they now enjoy seeing the vet,I have never had another vets treat you as good as this surgery does.They go out of there way to help and advice you.taking great care of you from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave.Wonderful doesn't even begin to cover the praise I have for this Vets service Thank You Read Less

Hannah our Collie Cross (13.5) had an operation today to remove a small tumour and whilst she was having this done our vet Aimee noticed she needed a little dental work and removed four teeth that were giving her trouble. Aimee also helped our chocolate Labrador (12) over Rainbow Bridge a couple of weeks ago. I would NOT trust any other practice to care for my animals. I have 3 German Shepherds registered at Leonard Brothers. All 3 of them are enrolled in their Lifetime Care Club which is excellent value for money. Every time we visit we are welcomed by the receptionists and never have to wait very long. We always get to see the same vet and all 3 of my dogs are made a fuss over and treated as individual animals xx Their reminder and follow up service is fantastic and I can honestly say this is the best veterinary practice I have ever been registered with. Wonderful care given both in the practice in Whitchurch from routine appointments to tooth extraction - excellent customer care for both my dog and myself, including the aftercare - thorough, reassuring and the out of hours too - my dog decided to roll in oil but still you get your actual vets not a generic out of hours service of whichever vet practice is on call. Very efficient and friendly professional staff throughout the practice. My first visit with my 12 year old collie cross who had a growth on her ear. Went in on Monday for a consultation on Wedensday Andy operated on her to remove it. I was sent home with excellent advise on how to keep her comfortable and an assurance that if there were any problems they were only a phone call away. On Thursday morning Nikki called to make sure Hannah had had a good night and all was well. Follow up appointment made for Friday. I could not praise this practice any more highly as they really care about the welfare of your pet and for the humans. I will be transferring Hannah and her sister Cindi to the care of this dedicated team. With regards to cost. You get what you pay for and in my experience you can get Vets that you pay for and dont get the correct advise or service. So 5 Brilliantly shining stars to Leonard Brothers from me. We can't thank Leonard brothers enough for getting our beautiful puppy through Parvovirus. the odds were certainly against him but through their quick thinking and loving care Arthur has survived ( nothing short of a miracle) Our lovely vet rang us 3 times a day to keep us informed of Arthurs condition, explaining to us every step of his illness and treatment. We moved to this practice when we had two kittens just over two years ago. The standard of care and service has been absolutely brilliant. ALL staff are so very friendly, nothing is too much trouble, whether you are talking to the lovely ladies on reception, or talking through your worries and concerns with the vets and nurses, you feel that both you and your pet really matter. We particularly like the follow up phone calls after treatment, just to let you know, that you are not forgotten, once you have left the surgery. My sons doggie had a serious dental problem, and Leonard Bros had to take lots of teeth out. He was treated wonderfully well and sympathetically, and was a lot more comfortable in the mouth afterwards. A few years later when he died, we had a lovely sympathy card from the practice. We have been using LBVC since they opened back in 2005. The practice is full of experienced, understanding and welcoming people who care for animals and their owners. They helped us through the ailments of our dog and cat then eased us through the trauma of their passings. Empathy is a word I use readily about LBVC - the entire team. Nowadays, they help us care for our two dogs, offering routine treatments, medications where necessary and surgery. I feel relaxed leaving my 'kids' in their care and have been educated by them on animal welfare. They are great at offering advice, guidance and solutions for whatever issues arise. I enjoy visiting the clean, spacious and welcoming surgery where I have banter with the team not only serious talks about the dogs. They offer the full range of services and are a one stop shop for animal care. I would highly recommend them and will most definitely be remaining a customer. Since first using the services of Leonard Brothers, nine months ago, for our four cats and five dogs we have enjoyed friendly and caring attention from everyone involved. Our pets have been attended to for routine vaccinations, behaviour problems with one of the dogs, a cat with a possible tumour and a dog with a rare infection which needed research to arrive at a diagnosis and long-term treatment.
