It was a Bank Holiday and our border collie having been ill for a few days, (with medications from our usual practise) had had a weekend of blood passing, listlessness and totally off his food plus co...
It was a Bank Holiday and our border collie having been ill for a few days, (with medications from our usual practise) had had a weekend of blood passing, listlessness and totally off his food plus constant diarrhoea amongst other symptoms.... all extremely distressing for him and us. Despite my early call at 8.15 am. to the emergency line, there was no hesitation from the Vet to meet me within 30 minutes at the practice.This young man spent some time examining our Dog and listening to all we had to say, and immediately gave us reassurances and confidence that our boy was in no danger.He explained everything in detail and could not have been more supportive. He spent time administering treatment and explained how we should look after our lad for the next few days.Well done, would highly recommend. 48 hours later, he is on the mend, happy little chap, looking for food and cuddles.
