This has been my vets since it was first established in Castle Street and over the years I’ve nothing but praise for it. I appreciate these are difficult times but can I ask that your receptionist makes clear at the time of booking, that pet owners have to stay outside while their pets are being treated. I walked my dog 2 miles yesterday to the surgery, totally unaware that I wasn’t able to get in out of the rain and wind, despite the notice on the door.

When I first moved to the area, I phoned every vet practice to find one that suited us. This one is privately owned, not part of a chain, so prices are not extortionate and the people are always nice....
When I first moved to the area, I phoned every vet practice to find one that suited us. This one is privately owned, not part of a chain, so prices are not extortionate and the people are always nice. I can't say that my dog is thrilled, but that would be true of any vet. Free parking, down a side road so not too busy, and a lovely staff.

The staff are amazingly compassionate, we as a family are going through a terrible time BUT the staff at castle vets have been so supportive.we had a big bill that our insurance company refused to pay leaving us with it to pay, my partner nearly lost his life and is still so very ill and the staff at the vets have given us time and space and not demanded we pay it right away.

This has been my vets since it was first established in Castle Street and over the years I’ve nothing but praise for it. I appreciate these are difficult times but can I ask that your receptionist makes clear at the time of booking, that pet owners have to stay outside while their pets are being treated. The staff are amazingly compassionate, we as a family are going through a terrible time BUT the staff at castle vets have been so supportive.we had a big bill that our insurance company refused to pay leaving us with it to pay, my partner nearly lost his life and is still so very ill and the staff at the vets have given us time and space and not demanded we pay it right away.
