Castle Veterinary Practice, Open 7 days a week - late night opening Monday to Friday until 7pm. We are a 1st opinion small animal practice dedicated to the care of your pets.
We are open for appointments throughout the day and provide a caring and supportive veterinary healthcare service for you and your much loved pet. We have now moved to a new purpose built location on Robins Drive in Bridgwater.

We are in a convenient location dedicated parking on site
We can supply effective flea and worming treatments over the counter supplied by a suitably qualified person (C-SQP or veterinary surgeon)

Consultation with blood sampling and testing on site
Radiographs (xrays) and Ultrasonography
Hospital care and surgery for both day and long stay treatments and procedures
Friendly and supportive staff always happy to provide advice and reassurance when you need it

This has been my vets since it was first established in Castle Street and over the years I’ve nothing but praise for it. I appreciate these are difficult times but can I ask that your receptionist makes clear at the time of booking, that pet owners have to stay outside while their pets are being treated. I walked my dog 2 miles yesterday to the surgery, totally unaware that I wasn’t able to get in out of the rain and wind, despite the notice on the door.

When I first moved to the area, I phoned every vet practice to find one that suited us. This one is privately owned, not part of a chain, so prices are not extortionate and the people are always nice....
When I first moved to the area, I phoned every vet practice to find one that suited us. This one is privately owned, not part of a chain, so prices are not extortionate and the people are always nice. I can't say that my dog is thrilled, but that would be true of any vet. Free parking, down a side road so not too busy, and a lovely staff.

The staff are amazingly compassionate, we as a family are going through a terrible time BUT the staff at castle vets have been so supportive.we had a big bill that our insurance company refused to pay leaving us with it to pay, my partner nearly lost his life and is still so very ill and the staff at the vets have given us time and space and not demanded we pay it right away.

Even though Tuesday night was such a heart breaking time, to have my boy sent to doggy heaven, i want to thank you for all your support you were all wonderful, caring and so understanding and thanks to the receptionist for making sure she had tissues ready when I walked in, even though it was so so hard, you made it as easy as it could of been, you guys are just fantastic, you are one vet that I recommend to everyone xxxx

This has been my vets since it was first established in Castle Street and over the years I’ve nothing but praise for it. I appreciate these are difficult times but can I ask that your receptionist makes clear at the time of booking, that pet owners have to stay outside while their pets are being treated. The staff are amazingly compassionate, we as a family are going through a terrible time BUT the staff at castle vets have been so supportive.we had a big bill that our insurance company refused to pay leaving us with it to pay, my partner nearly lost his life and is still so very ill and the staff at the vets have given us time and space and not demanded we pay it right away.
