Everyone at Polden Hill Vets are always 5 star in their professional and caring attitude but today they were even more super sonic than usual. For 3 years I’ve bern trying to cut my dogs nails , she was abused in Romania and has trust issues. I was going to have her sedated to have them done as a previous attempt was unsuccessful. However Hannah , wonderful nurse that she is , wanted to try one more time , and with patience’s and technique was able to hold Freya while John quickly did her nails .. I am so grateful for the time , patience and genuine love Hannah showed to Freya . She even made a special time to sit in the floor and reassure and cuddle Freya afterwards . Thank you Hannah You are a SUPERSTAR ⭐️🌟💫 xx

Having used another vets for many years I decided to move to here ! Well I wish I had done it sooner ! Wow you all are amazing ! You all genuinely care for the animals you see ! When I first registered my dogs you showed us around it's amazing ! I bought my three doe rabbits in for a check up turns out 3 doe's were 2 doe's one buck ! you booked them in the next day all to be neutered no problem at all ! There enclosure was beyond expectations ! and finally I would like to say... a massive Thankyou to Emily and John for yesterday , my daughters very loved fish was dying and we couldn't put it out of it misery , I phoned at 4.15 ( out of hours) and asked if there was anything you could do , Emily said bring it and we will put it to sleep ! Wow Emily you cared for that fish like it was a big animal the respect was amazing from Emily , John and Margaret after .Thankyou so much .So no matter what animal you have big or small they will be guaranteed first class care here at polden hill vets ! We moved to polden hill vets a few months back after amazing recommendation. Our dog had been seen, but our cat had never needed any medical attention, until she became very poorly very fast. We had to say goodbye to our amazing bubble. The service has been just unbeatable. From the advice to the end the staff were so lovely. It isn’t like any other average vets, your helped and treated like VIP the entire way, nothing was too much trouble. And the private room in which you c...an say goodbye and spend time with your pet is much nicer than most places clinical rooms. All the vets and staff who have helped us through our heartbreaking journey with our beautiful 10yr old cat have been amazing. This really is the most caring friendly place to bring your fur babies. I’m so glad we moved over. Thank you to John, Margret and all the team. You’ve been amazing through it all. X See More

I have been using Polden Hills vets since they started out, they have always provided excellent service to myself and my pets. One of my dogs was very poorly and had to have a weekend stay, I love the fact that John and Margaret are there 24/7 to keep an eye on poorly pets. Prices are very reasonable too. I would not go anywhere else.

What a beautiful place, what caring people, my friends had to have their dog put down yesterday, while I stayed and looked after their other dog, and these people made what was a tragic event to them,...
What a beautiful place, what caring people, my friends had to have their dog put down yesterday, while I stayed and looked after their other dog, and these people made what was a tragic event to them, into a lovely peaceful farewell to their dog of 14+ yes, Roly was an exceptional dog, who had a great life, he was born in Cyprus, moved back to England then out to SPAIN and then back to England, and thanks to these incredible caring Vets he had a beautiful peaceful end, in great surroundings, and his Mum and Dad were able to say a peaceful and dignified goodbye to their boy, God Bless you Roly I will miss my friend coming for his afternoon nap, and thank you Chilton Polden Vets

We recently created a water garden for John and Margaret for their clients to relax in and walk dogs etc...how very thoughtful, but it is just touches like that that make these peoples service SO pers...
We recently created a water garden for John and Margaret for their clients to relax in and walk dogs etc...how very thoughtful, but it is just touches like that that make these peoples service SO personal. We have a VERY good local vets, but when we were working there for two/three weeks our Gordon Setter had an ear problem, as soon as they knew they dropped everything and within the hour they had a look at him, they gave him antibiotics and examined him a further three times, and treated him, while we were working there...and they charged us nothing which just goes to show how kind-hearted they are.
We work all over the UK but I will now be travelling two hours from my home in the Cotswolds to take our Rusty to them...so don't think twice, swop to them you cannot go wrong!

We moved to polden hill vets a few months back after amazing recommendation. Our dog had been seen, but our cat had never needed any medical attention, until she became very poorly very fast. We had to say goodbye to our amazing bubble. The service has been just unbeatable. From the advice to the end the staff were so lovely. One of my dogs was very poorly and had to have a weekend stay, I love the fact that John and Margaret are there 24/7 to keep an eye on poorly pets. Prices are very reasonable too. What a fab vets, came highly recommended from some friends for my new puppy. Got a great tour of their whole facility, a wonderful puppy pack, friendly people and my pup was treated to the best of care, check up, nail trim, eye check and vaccination.

We have a VERY good local vets, but when we were working there for two/three weeks our Gordon Setter had an ear problem, as soon as they knew they dropped everything and within the hour they had a look at him, they gave him antibiotics and examined him a further three times, and treated him, while we were working there...and they charged us nothing which just goes to show how kind-hearted they are.
We work all over the UK but I will now be travelling two hours from my home in the Cotswolds to take our Rusty to them...so don't think twice, swop to them you cannot go wrong!

They are an excellent vets all the staff are very helpful, and the prices are reasonable.
I would not normally recommend services but this vets is top.
