This vet practice has to be the worst vet I have ever dealt with. They are purely business minded, lack real genuine compassion or concern for animals or owners. My dear 14 year old dog was euthanased recently by the most impatient female vet who showed no desire to offer first aid to my little dog who had collapsed. We were instead funnelled down the euthanasia route as it was closing time and she clearly wanted to get home! My dear little dog was still eating, walking, enjoying life but needed intervention to stabilise him in that moment to carefully decide the next best steps. Instead, we were rushed to make a massive decision to euthanase while in an emotionally charged state, led to believe his organs were closing down without proper testing and without giving us a chance to think straight. To top that, we were sent to drive home so distraught and not able to see our dog at peace. Later I was informed during a complaint by telephone directly to vet involved she used a cardiac injection to euthanase my dear dog which has left me disturbed, unable to find peace and unable to process grief which was horrific news as I did not consent to this method. This vet is only money orientated, purely business and lacks compassion or empathy in my experience. We are now in the process of making a formal complaint to vetenary body as our treatment and treatment of our lovely boy is disgraceful. To rub salt into our raw wounds, collecting his ashes today, they have taken money for a casket but sent him home in a cardboard tube......they really are just not a vet to do business with... choose a different one for everyone's sake but most of all your dog, cat or other animal. Most unhelpful, rude and detached team of staff I have ever dealt with who deep down are cold, detached and only in it for the money. I have dealt with many vets over the years, but Harris Hill Gibbons is one to definately avoid at all costs! Read Less
