Never a pleasant experience when a pet is euthanised, but the staff were really caring and compassionate, nothing was too much trouble and our beloved pet had a dignified and peaceful passing.

We've taken all our dogs to Delaware Veterinary Clinic for the past 23 years. We've always been treated politely and well. Our dogs have been traeted well and with respect. We've used them "out of hours " with emergencies at the practice. The vets have arrived within 25 minutes of our phone call. Would I recommend them. 100% yes.

All the staff at Delaware have been nothing but incredible over the past week or so. We have unfortunately lost both our bunnies in the space of 5 days. They had Alba over night last night and did all they could to treat him but life likes to be cruel and he did not make it. Rabbits are not easy animals to treat and every time I’ve had an issue, they have always been excellent. Thank you so much guys! Love Alba and Calamity’s mummy x

Having to have a much loved bunny euthanised during half term was pretty miserable, but everyone at Delaware were so gentle not only with our bunnies, but with my children as well. Receiving a card from our lovely vet the next day had us all in tears but was much appreciated- really feel that we're cared for, not just clients.

I have used this vets for years with various animals (both mine and that of friends) and have never had an issue, until today. The young lady receptionist advised me that a vetinary nurse will need to see my dog before they can dispense an anti-flea treatment, I queried the cost and she explained it is free of charge. I was concerned about the cost as I had explained the concerns I had about the health of my pets skin and with a dog groomer in the family it would be more cost effective to get advice from them. The receptionist confirmed the check up would be free of charge again.
20 minutes later we see a vetinarian, not a nurse, and discuss our concerns and reason for wanting the treatment. She spent 2-3 minutes looking over our dog and then, of her own accord and without instruction, proceeded to empty the anal glands. A few minutes later we payed a bill of over 90 for the privilege! I was happy paying for the treatment but they had charged us for a full consultation when I was clearly told this would be free!
They provide a good service overall but this has left a sour taste, total dishonesty does not work for any business, especially when there are so many other practices to choose from in the local area.
My advice is to obtain a full quotation in writing before proceeding with anything as it seems that they like to add on costs which were not agreed to.

I am in the very privileged position to use the equine services of Delaware, without whom I wouldn't have been able to get my business off the ground and enjoy the success I have had to date. Superb service, always timely and always delivered with a smile and a joke. I have over time tried all the other vets in the area and was so relieved to finally find a genuinely decent equine vet, who could do more than the basics. I can't recommend them highly enough and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else

They've done a lot for our dog Lexie when she had to have an emergency hysterectomy and were absolutely fab with lui when he had a scratch on his eye. They handle every case with compassion, consideration and kindness and really understand that pets are part of the family. been to another vets for nearly 2 years fighting storms spots spent nearly 2000 in that time,changed vets and within 1 month delaware has praticaly cured him,highly recommended

I have used this vets for years with various animals (both mine and that of friends) and have never had an issue, until today. The young lady receptionist advised me that a vetinary nurse will need to see my dog before they can dispense an anti-flea treatment, I queried the cost and she explained it is free of charge. I was concerned about the cost as I had explained the concerns I had about the health of my pets skin and with a dog groomer in the family it would be more cost effective to get advice from them. The receptionist confirmed the check up would be free of charge again.
20 minutes later we see a vetinarian, not a nurse, and discuss our concerns and reason for wanting the treatment. She spent 2-3 minutes looking over our dog and then, of her own accord and without instruction, proceeded to empty the anal glands. A few minutes later we payed a bill of over 90 for the privilege! I was happy paying for the treatment but they had charged us for a full consultation when I was clearly told this would be free!
They provide a good service overall but this has left a sour taste, total dishonesty does not work for any business, especially when there are so many other practices to choose from in the local area.
My advice is to obtain a full quotation in writing before proceeding with anything as it seems that they like to add on costs which were not agreed to.

I am in the very privileged position to use the equine services of Delaware, without whom I wouldn't have been able to get my business off the ground and enjoy the success I have had to date. Superb service, always timely and always delivered with a smile and a joke. I have over time tried all the other vets in the area and was so relieved to finally find a genuinely decent equine vet, who could do more than the basics. I can't recommend them highly enough and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else

Fantastic vets! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, even at 9pm on a Friday night on an emergency call out. They are caring and professional and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
