The staff are not professionals, the customers experience do not matter to them. I was put in a room that was treated like a hallway. People were walking in and out constantly, they did not have a proper place to put my dog, nor did they closed the door for privacy. They charge £17 for clipping nails but then ask you to hold your dog while they clip the nails. They caused my dog to bleed, then were going to let me walk out with her bleeding. It was not until I said said something about her bleeding all over the floor then they decided to do something. When I ask what are you putting on her (becasue at this point I did not trust them at all), he told me it was a pen. He did not explain what it was until I continuously asked the same question. The 'professionals'(they claim to be) aka Crooks used standard nail clippers that can be purchased at the same or lower price. When I got there they were trying to charge me £20 for the clipping, which meant they change prices when they want to. It was the worse vet experience I have been through and I am a very chilled person. I hope you found this review helpful. I do not know how they treat other scenarios. This is my experience with them. I do not plan to ever go back. Read Less

Oh and the staff is very nice. I've frequently forgotten my money when paying for specialized dog food and they just said to come back within the week to pay. Really friendly and locally oriented. Excellent local vets. Always look after our cat - our cat even walled herself there once whilst we were in work!

Great local friendly vets. Staff are very welcoming and will help in any way they can. Prices are fairly high but as the service is so good this is understandable. Would recommend

My daughter was cat sitting and was worried about 1 of the cats, the vet saw her that morning, calmed the cat down administered painkillers as she had been bitten and offered antibiotics by tablets or an injection for 2 extra. Never been offered that at my old vet who was more expensive! My other cat has been bitten and I am about to take her here for the same care and attention at a lot less cost Read Less

'Our priority is for our vets service to be conscientious and caring while retaining the personal touch.'Cumines Veterinary Surgery was established in 1992. They have been providing a quality small animal veterinary service to the local community ever since. They are a small practice, with dedicated, friendly staff, who are great at reassuring us when Tiddles or Marmite is ill. Cumines Veterinary Surgery is an RCVS General Practice. This is an accreditation under the"Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons" Practice Standards Scheme, which involves passing a rigorous inspection of hygiene, health and safety, and the facilities and equipment to name just a few of the many criteria.
