We've transferred all our pets here, (even though it's far away) after we had a problem with one of the kittens, he has been really good taken care of, the staff is amazing, they really care of your pets health, the prices are very good, and the quality of the staff is really high up. I have been registered at this practice for almost 2yrs and always found them very friendly and professional. My little Kelpie cross recently went in for routine spey and vet Menna Morgan was absolutely brilliant with her. Because the dog runs on adrenalin and works herself into a frenzy beforehand I brought her straight from the car into a private room where Menna was ready with a sedative before the dog even realised she was in the vets. Took Cooper for his first vet visit and registered him for the puppy pack. Very reasonable price and all the staff at the surgery were friendly and chatty. Cooper was treated lovely and checked over thoroughly. He wasn't even phased by his first vaccinations as he was distracted by the treats that were kindly given. All the staff had a cwtch with him and even took his photo to show him off. So glad to be registered in such a well run veterinary surgery. Read Less

We found a lost dog recently and took it to the vets only for them to be really unhelpful asked my husband to wait out in the rain even though we attend this vets normally, would not help in anyway disappointing and were treated very rudely made us question if they even liked animals! Read Less

I cannot recommend this surgery more, absolutely amazing service. My dog recently had a pedicle graft on her eye, which she had 4 years ago with another vet who were unable to do the op so I had to go to England. It cost 3000 and my dog was in a bad way for weeks, but with menna it was 220 and after 4 days I can already see improvements! We have had quite a few visits to St David's Vets over the last 2 years, with our elderly golden retriever (now deceased) and our numerous bunnies.  I honestly can not fault the vets, they have open surgery every day so you can just turn up without an appointment.  Or you can book a fixed appointment slot.  They are the cheapest vets that we have ever been to, and I would certainly not hesitate to recommend them.  I fact we were recommended them by a relative, who thought that we were paying far too much in bills with our previous vets.   I just wish I had always used St David's Vets, as I would have saved a fortune.I have always been treated nicely by the staff, and have found them to be very compassionate when our beloved animals had to be put to sleep.  They provide a really good service, at a very good cost. Always use this practice for my retired greyhounds and for the ones I foster prior to re-homing. The veterinary care is second to none and I have never had an issue. The waiting room staff are very friendly and when I had to put to sleep an old lass of ours recently they were very supportive and extremely caring. Reading the other review I would imagine that whoever wrote it  has let her animals illness cloud her judgement as she described a practice which in reality does not exist. I have no hesitation in recommending St. Davids and you will know that your pets are in safe hands. Read Less
