I moved to Churchfields last year when my Shar Pei became pregnant and I had a shocking experience with Vets 4 Pets. They were understanding and still always give a personal service for both myself and my pets. They truly make me feel comfortable that they are doing the best for my precious dogs. They go above and beyond on the reception and as an anxious mum, this is a huge relief. My Shar Peis are really anxious and they always spend that extra time helping them to feel relaxed before they treat them. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERVICE AND PEOPLE HIGHLY RECOMMEND . Read Less

Sam is our first dog, the service we have received throughout Sam's life has been amazing. Guidance from staff about how to bring up a puppy. Behaviour tips and feeding tips. Unfortunately Sam was diagnosed with Masticatory Muscle Myositis at the age of 4 Years, early diagnosis, patience and good management of his medication by Vet Liz saw sam through to a full recovery and eventually Sam was able to be taken off steroids altogether which I think is is very rare with this condition. Sam continued to visit Churchflield as and when necessary. This year Sam just wasn't right, he seemed to have pain in his back, Sam was seen by Vet Keith who quickly suspected arthritis, Sam had general bloods done and xrays. Sam was referred for Hydrotherapy and Acupuncture (Vet Rhona Donaldson vets Huddersfield). Which improved his pain. The blood tests showed some anomalies, more bloods were done, again some anomalies. Rhona and Keith worked together and Sam was diagnosed with Addison's disease. Vet Keith was off ill when Sam's tests for Addison's came back, he still analysed them, Keith and Rhona held case conference calls over their weekend time off. Sam is now on treatment for this disorder. The result so far is that Sam is doing very well, with a big improvement. One final note... Addison's disease is difficult to diagnose and usually a dog may become very ill and have to be hospitalised before this is picked up. Thankfully with perseverance by the Vets this was averted with Sam. Thank you so much to the whole team at Churchfield Read Less

I have been a customer here for many years, where the health of my 2 dogs has been overseen. I've always been very satisfied, I would have moved if I wasn't. My boys have been well cared for. Sadly Archie passed away 17weeks ago and Billy just 5 days ago. On each occasion they were efficient kind and compassionate. When and if I have another dog in my life, or two, I will be returning to Churchfield vets. Particularly grateful to Liz Cooper who helped my Billy last a few more weeks and was just the right mixture of realistic, empathetic and practical.
