General Info
We are a well-equipped veterinary surgery and can offer a wide range of diagnostic procedures including digital radiography, ultrasound and laboratory investigations on site. Surgical operations and dental procedures are performed on weekdays using modern equipment.
Within our surgery we have facilities to hospitalise patients for intensive care treatment. We can also offer other specialised treatments such as chemotherapy as required.
Home visits can be arranged on weekdays when requested.
Clinics:
Free Nurse clinics are available to all patients with a wide range of topics including:
Weight/diet clinics: Pet Fit Club in conjunction with Virbac calorie regulation diet. For both under and overweight dogs and cats or even those that just want to maintain. We can weigh, measure and score your pet and work out a personalised feeding and exercise program specific to you and your pet.
Flea/worm checks: To ensure that you are dosing your pet correctly, we will weigh your pet, advise you on the best treatment for your and their requirements and administer the treatment saving you the battle at home! All you will pay for is the medication.
Just a general ‘Hello’ and a treat: We try to encourage owners and their pets, especially puppies, to just pop in on a regular basis for a cuddle and a treat so that we can show them that ‘The Vets’ is not just a ‘nasty’ place where they have injections or only come when they’re sick. It is much easier to treat a pet when they’re happy to come and see us.

After conversations with the vets here we specifically chose a Tuesday afternoon for our beloved dog to be put to sleep. It later became evident that the collection for cremation had occurred earlier ...
After conversations with the vets here we specifically chose a Tuesday afternoon for our beloved dog to be put to sleep. It later became evident that the collection for cremation had occurred earlier that day and our pet had spent a week in a closed freezer before being taken for cremation.
We had made plans to avoid this very issue and the idea of her laying in a freezer for a full week has left us both angry and distraught.

I have only recently joined this vetenary practice following a very bad experience with my previous vet, I have found the whole team to be friendly and yet professional and most importantly knowledgea...
I have only recently joined this vetenary practice following a very bad experience with my previous vet, I have found the whole team to be friendly and yet professional and most importantly knowledgeable, they treat my cats with the upmost attention and offer a very caring approach, all in all very good service.

We called the surgery within 5 minutes of our 5 month old kitten showing signs of distress after a freak accident...they welcomed us immediately even though it was late in the day, luckily we live clo...
We called the surgery within 5 minutes of our 5 month old kitten showing signs of distress after a freak accident...they welcomed us immediately even though it was late in the day, luckily we live close by and our beloved cat was sedated and operated on with minimum stress to her minutes after her accident.. the staff are friendly and polite and empathetic and the proceedure saved our girl and cost less than we had anticipated...fantastic for our baby and us..a terrible frightening situation made bearable we are truley thankful.

Thankyou Elisabeth and girls, I CANNOT recommend you highly enough, Fagin is playing again after only two days of probiotic, a different antibiotic and a change of food, despite his ongoing kidney problem, so glad I changed vets, thankyou Richard for recommending Elisabeth, Fagin has been so ill for two years and lost so much weight, but now I feel very positive, please try this practise, one vet, who took all the time in the world with my poorly lad, didn't try to get me to have even more blood tests or 1000 MRI scans, started with the basics and he feels better already . THANKYOU xxx

A brilliant practice with kind and caring staff. I will never forget when we lost our golden labradore last year how much kindness was shown to us and they made all the arrangements for the cremation ...
A brilliant practice with kind and caring staff. I will never forget when we lost our golden labradore last year how much kindness was shown to us and they made all the arrangements for the cremation and the return of her ashes and casket plus a beautiful sympathy card. Its all those little touches that make this practice stand out above all the rest. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.
