I would like to thank Hunters Bar Vets for the care and support that they gave to my beautiful dog Bert. He had been ill for a number of months and was at the vets at one point every other day and they always had the time to spend with him. Caroline and Katie did a wonderful job of managing his illness and were always at the end of a phone if I needed to talk to them. Unfortunately I had to have Bert put to sleep last week which was absolutely heart breaking. Armando was lovely and allowed us to say goodbye to our beloved pet calmly and in our own time. Thank you.

Just wanted to write and thank Hunters Bar Vets for their kindness (particularly Nicola and Caroline- hope I've got the right names) when our cat, Lola, was brought in after sadly being knocked down by a car on 01/07/17. You helped make what was a horrible time for us easier to deal with, so thank you.

The vets at this practice are very kind and provide a good quality of care for cats and dogs. However over the years I have found the service to be inconsistent regarding advice and which vet you see....
The vets at this practice are very kind and provide a good quality of care for cats and dogs. However over the years I have found the service to be inconsistent regarding advice and which vet you see. I find the cost of service astronomical, and not in line with the quality of service provided compared to other surgeries that are better and less expensive. My recent experience has left me feeling that we were messed about and not given great advice with regard to the treatmen...t of my rabbit. If there is a poorly animal and you don't know what you're doing, don't continue 'waiting to see what happens' you are the vets. Have the grace to advise seeing the specialist asap not um and ah or say 'other colleagues will be consulted' I don't doubt your clinicians care, but my last experience has left me feeling that Hunters Bar Vet's business model and generation of income is more important than the outcome for their clients. I wouldn't recommend this vet surgery for poorly or complex animal care. See More

I feel I need to write this on behalf of our beautiful cat Zip who sadly died on 09/01/2017. Zip has been a client of Hunters Bar Vet all her life and has always been treated with great love and affection ....I should especially like to mention 2 of your vets....Dinu (who is no longer with the practice) was awesome and treated Zip's rupture of her Achilles' tendon with phenomenal skill, affection and success giving her a further two years plus of quality life.........Armando saw Zip at the end of her life and his love, care and compassion of both her and us was out of this world....I cannot praise and thank him enough...he made an impossible situation bearable as incidentally did Zip herself who remained calm and dignified to the end. Thank you

Best vets ever! Stan my gorgeous 9 yr old Springer Stanley had a big knee op 6 weeks ago and a major hip op 2 days ago by superstar vet Dinu. He's a fab dog and is recovering brilliantly - thank you for doing such a great job! The nursing & reception staff are also lovely. We also have 2 cats that we take here. I recommend them to everybody!!!

When our 10year Lab Terrence went lame last Christmas Vet Dino came to the house twice and was very good with the X Ray fitting us in straight away ,,the nurse was fantastic too so a big thankyou.
