It has taken me a while to post this review but the shock of what they did has took us a while to get over. We took my daughters rabbit into the surgery for a routine operation to shave his teeth down. This is a routine operation done on a regular basis. We received a call from one of the partners at Arncliffe to say that they had killed the rabbit!! After finding out that they had overdosed the rabbit with the anaesthetic and unable to revive him. I would have thought that a professional outfit such as Arncliffe had procedures in place to avoid such a clinical error!!! I would not and never recommend anyone to use this surgery again as this was a perfectly healthy animal who’s life was ended early due to Negligence!!!
If you value your animals I would rethink if you are going to use this surgery!!!
If there was any justice system in place for animals then I am sure this would be classed as manslaughter and therefore the surgery would have to answer to the law. Fortunately for them, there isn’t any criminal justice system and hence they are still trading and it wouldn’t surprise me that other animals will also suffer the same fate as ours. Also the biggest upset for us is to console our 10 and 13 year old daughters and let them know we would be burying their soulmate rather than having fun times with him.

Waiting far too long. This is not the first time I have had to wait around 45 minutes to be seen after my appointment time. Different vet each time too. Dog had lump on side, one vet said fine so left it. Another lump in a different place. The new lump is fine however get said other older lump needs operating on at a cost of £750 to remove both lumps. Firstly, why both when 1 was fine, secondly other lump dog has had for years with no problems. Then, went to pay and it was £29!!! Dog hasn't even had any treatment... just a check up. Considering moving to another vet.

Brilliant service. Previously took my dog to Abbey vets who were more interested in finding the most expensive treatment they could. Arncliffe gave me the option of controlling my dog's condition medically and weren't pushing expensive x-rays and surgery like my previous vet. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The vets within this veterinary practice are lovely. They love animals which i know sounds odd! but ive been to places where they could not care less! Arncliffe listen to you and connect with your pet they are understanding and i feel try their best. The facilities are clean and hygiene is really good. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

Took our dog with problems with her legs or hips . Over 150 pounds later an she is worse than she ever was only to be told nothing wrong she can hardly walk now God no's what they have done she was suppose to only have an xray now she can't walk . Customer service not great either staff can be rude and never seen the same vet everytime it's someone different .

We took our British Bulldog to see a vet as she was obviously in the first stages of labour, in our opinion. We were told no she wasn't in labour and to take her back in the morning if worried. Less than 12 hours later our dog came back into the house with a dead puppy in her mouth and was very distressed. We took her to the emergency vets in Rotherham where she delivered 2 puppies and we then took her home to have the rest, she became very distressed again and delivered another dead puppy. We rushed back to Springfield vets where they preformed an emergency C section saving 2 more puppies.
When I phoned Arncliffe vets to complain and ask for my consultation money back I was accused of threatening behaviour so the conversation with JANET ended very abruptly. Springfield vets were brilliant thanks to Irena and cannot recommend their service enough.

What an amazing Vet Neyo is: He knows his stuff where Greyhounds are concerned and just as important he respects and cares about his patients and their owners.
I live in Sheffield (don't drive) but was given recommendation by an Owner/Trainer of Racing Greyhounds.
My Greyhounds are precious pets and and after being treated for months for a bad limp where she could hardly walk (without improvement) my other Greyhound having a heart and spine condition, and told it was her age, I took them to Arncliffe, needless to say their lives/health have improved and I have now regained my trust and confidence, knowing that we have a Vet who knows and cares about what he does.
Our gratitude is immeasurable.

It has taken me a while to post this review but the shock of what they did has took us a while to get over. We took my daughters rabbit into the surgery for a routine operation to shave his teeth down. This is a routine operation done on a regular basis. When I phoned Arncliffe vets to complain and ask for my consultation money back I was accused of threatening behaviour so the conversation with JANET ended very abruptly. Springfield vets were brilliant thanks to Irena and cannot recommend their service enough.

My dog Jack( west highland white terrier ) had been unwell for 2 days so I phoned for an appointment and got one for 30 minutes later.The vet I saw,Ian Bayman, quickly diagnosed the problem ,prescribed some tablets and 24 hours later,Jack is 90% fit again.I cant thank him enough for his help

What an amazing Vet Neyo is: He knows his stuff where Greyhounds are concerned and just as important he respects and cares about his patients and their owners.
I live in Sheffield (don't drive) but was given recommendation by an Owner/Trainer of Racing Greyhounds.
My Greyhounds are precious pets and and after being treated for months for a bad limp where she could hardly walk (without improvement) my other Greyhound having a heart and spine condition, and told it was her age, I took them to Arncliffe, needless to say their lives/health have improved and I have now regained my trust and confidence, knowing that we have a Vet who knows and cares about what he does.
Our gratitude is immeasurable.
