Rotherham Vets4Pets

Rotherham, South Yorkshire
General Info
At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself at your local Vets4Pets, why not take a practice tour?

I travel slightly Futher than I need to so my pets can be seen here as the staff are all so genuine and caring. I've had a dog need a dew claw removal which at £154 including pain relief for at home wasn't terrible! Their kitten starter packs at £65 including first vaccines, 4 flea and work treatments and regular weight checks were so helpful for us! I also have direct debits set up to spread the cost of regular treatments such as flea, worm, and vaccines across the year. £14 for my medium sized dog and £10 for my 4kg can I can't complain about saving almost £200 a year just on regular treatments. Made an appointment a couple of days ago for my dog I've never been before so she took some details and booked me in for today Friday 17th November. When I got there she asked my dogs name when I told her she said he's not booked in, I'm not very happy at all I took time of from work to take him and she wasn't very sorry just said I'll book him in again. Shall NEVER EVER use this place again. On 26/7/17 had to take my dog to have a cesarean section the vet did the operation he took my partner and 8 year old son in a private room and they were told the operation went well and mum and puppy was well and to make arrangements for them to come home .The vet left the building that bit was brilliant can't vault the vet himself .What happened next is the awful thing with in half an hour of the vet leaving the building a woman came out into the main waiting area there were other clients in there plus my partner and 8 year old excited son waiting to take his much loved and wanted new puppy home only for her to say in front of others YOUR DOGS PUP IS DEAD.I'm sorry but where was the sympathy, the decency and compassion they could have been took in a private room to be told this .They see death every day an we don't she was a new addition to the family. Plus after having spent £901.52 they informed us if my dog wanted pain relief it would be an extra £35 but yet when mum and puppy were coming home they were sending her home without pain relief .No change of dressing for my dog when she got home the original one fell off within half an hour of my dog coming home .Head office have been informed of this incident Read Less

Worst service from a vet I have ever experienced - receptionist was too busy in a conversation and blatantly ignored me - which I can allow for that but when my dog urinated they kicked out us outside - please remember dogs cannot say when they need to urinate like humans, but still they may be big on hygiene. But then to finish they would not even look at my dog because abbey vets (registered) would not release the records ( I do find that slightly warped). What he's an animal what needed looking at and I've never felt as unwelcome anywhere, I've been to other vets who are really warm and welcoming. Maybe it's just me being too harsh or misunderstanding, I don't know - I just know I felt unwelcome there. However I can't judge the vets themselves as I never saw one. Read Less
