Full 24-hour Emergency Care is provided at the superbly equipped Main Barnsley Centre (89 Dodworth Road) thus you can gain advice or emergency treatment at any time by Abbey’s own vets --- in Barnsley (3 min from J37 MI). So in an emergency the Vet will have all your pet’s health details immediately to hand.
The Main Barnsley Centre is open all day every day including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays for routine appointments at no surcharge. ( Xmas Day emergency’s only)
6 other branches located in Royston, Cudworth, Wombwell, Hoyland, Deepcar and High Green also open all day Monday to Friday.

Absolutely adore the treatment we've had with my dog and my new kitten. The staff are friendly and a pleasure to speak to. The vet knows his stuff and is very helpful with any questions. My dog recent...
Absolutely adore the treatment we've had with my dog and my new kitten. The staff are friendly and a pleasure to speak to. The vet knows his stuff and is very helpful with any questions. My dog recently had to be put to sleep and they were very understanding and human. I told his old vet that we recently switched from, and recieved no sympathy for such a difficult decision.
Thank you Abbey vets, I will always stay loyal to them for the sake of my fur babies and the way they are/were treated.

Amazing vets. Highly recommend. Had to take my Rottweiler puppy for 2nd vaccination, the vet took his time and patiently answered our questions. A massive thank you to the receptionist who couldn't he...
Amazing vets. Highly recommend. Had to take my Rottweiler puppy for 2nd vaccination, the vet took his time and patiently answered our questions. A massive thank you to the receptionist who couldn't help us enough after we travelled from Nottingham and our puppy had been sick all over the back seat. Nothing was to much trouble. Lovely people. Thank you.

Always happy the the service, help and advice given by all the members of staff throughout the Abbey vets practices.
I have a few animals registered with this vets after using others & definitely wouldn't swap to anywhere else.
If anyone is unsure about where to take their pet then here should be top of the list! Couldn't recommend more.

Absolutely adore the treatment we've had with my dog and my new kitten. The staff are friendly and a pleasure to speak to. The vet knows his stuff and is very helpful with any questions. My dog recently had to be put to sleep and they were very understanding and human. I told his old vet that we recently switched from, and recieved no sympathy for such a difficult decision.
