It's a pretty standard Veterinary Practice, though the service is very good. Opening times could be better, but it's a Vet and that's not gonna happen, Vets are on call-outs and such. Sometimes you feel quite rushed, however it is to be expected, but when it's your Pet you don't always need to feel rushed and more stressed. That said, this is a problem with all Vets, not this one alone and honestly this place is very good, especially considering it's in a small town. I do wish they had an Avian Vet though, that'd push this review up to a 5; shame there aren't many Avian Vets around in general though. Read Less

My mother-in-law phoned the surgery on Good Friday as her Jack Russell was having breathing difficulties. She asked for a home visit and the receptionist told her no, the vet won't come to her house and that my mother-in-law had to bring the dog into the surgery. My mother-in-law is elderly and had no available transport at that time, she explained this to the receptionist who then rudely told her to phone another vet. By the time I managed to get to my mother-in-laws the dog had just passed away leaving my mother-in-law bereft from the loss of a much loved companion. I've not long since buried the dog and thought I'd leave a honest review of this caring vetinary practice who could possibly of made the passing of a beloved pet less distressing. Nice staff but not helpful only wanted some Advantage for my car but they said she had got to been seen just money spinning in my mind. Went to the chemist on laughton road sold it straight away. Good vets but please can you not try profiteering for sake of a bit of flea treatment. Read Less
