Highfield have looked after my dog's health for more than 5 years. They have seen Friday safely through multiple operations, including two to remove Mast Cell Tumours. Their knowledge, skill and professionalism is second to none but as well as that, they treat both animals and their humans with care, compassion and respect. Details such as staff distracting terrified dogs with treats in the waiting room and phoning the day after surgery to check that your animal is recovering and that you have no concerns make Highfield stand out. They explained Friday's diagnoses, her prognosis and her aftercare clearly, without talking down to me or making me feel stupid, even though I had no knowledge or experience of her conditions. I've moved away from S Yorkshire now and even then Highfield sent Friday's records within a hour of them being requested by my new practice. I can't thank Highfield Veterinary Centre enough for everything they've done for us (Friday has had no further MCTs three years on) and I recommend Highfield Veterinary Centre to anyone who loves their animals.Read Less

She had been ill for a while and the staff at Highfield were brilliant throughout what was a traumatic time for me. They were so professional yet very empathetic and supportive. I came home to a hand written condolences card from them today and although it made me cry thinking about Beeby I was really touched by it. Wasn't necessary for them to do that but the little things in life are the best, and I will definitely send in something for the book of remembrance that they have (again an unnecessary but lovely thing they do).
