A very friendly and clam atmosphere. The staff are absolutely amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. They always remember my name on sight and the name of my dog (she is a nightmare though!) There is a side entrance for dogs not suited to waiting in reception or for animals that are very, very sick.
When an animal is being put to sleep, the staff light a candle and ask people to be respectful and quiet which is a great touch.
A fantastic branch, I'd highly recommend. Read Less

The female vet was supposed to examine our dog as part of her routine health check and administer her booster and kennel cough vacs which I pay Β£20 extra for. She hardly touched her, never checked eyes, teeth etc. She did not present as overly confident administering jab and totally wimped out giving Kennel cough vacs and handed it to me saying I could do it myself at home when dog is less stressed. Our dog is small and non aggressive.
Week later back at Vets dog has poorly eye, saw make Vet, he's good seen him before. Dog has conjunctivitis, small bottle of Fucidin eye drops (same active ingredients in human eye drops for same complaint) Total cost a grand total of Β£63.37 (Β£35 consultation fee) for less than 10 minute consultation. Asked about Dental check, clean and polish was told depending on what they find could be looking at a bill of Β£500 +! Even Dick Turpin wore a mask before robbing people!
A couple of years back dog pulled a muscle playing in snow, went to vets saw a female vet who prescribed painkillers and then went ahead and booked X-rays at a cost of Β£250.00 without my consent was only told cost when I asked, she started talking about surgery at a cost of Β£3000. Told her I would administer painkillers, rest the dog and monitor and if no improvement would then go ahead with x-rays at which point she got stroppy intimating that I was not doing what is in the best interests of the dog. 4 days later dog is fine, and has been fine since despite "my neglect". All about profit and racking your bill up. Shop around is my advice people have recommended Spire or Crooks to me since. Read Less

We took our 12 year old Cat for a routine dental to Vets4pets,which was our first visit to this practice, They recommended tooth extractions, following the extractions our poor Cassie did not recover Due to the post extraction & very dangerous medication that was prescribed by them, which are Metacam & Cefovecin [Convenia] , we obviously took the Vets advice on the treatment & Medication, but I wished we had not laid eyes on Vets4pets after this tragedy
Cassie died on the 23rd February 2016, she was only 12 years old with no other health problems before the Dental...we are devastated!!!
