Melbourne Veterinary Centre is the longest standing veterinary practice in Cannock. We strive to offer our clients Gold standard every time. We are a small animal practice offering advice on Exotics, Heart Scans, in house Laboratory work ups, Skin Cases, Orthopedics, Strong nursing consults and much more.

Sentenced my cat to a death sentence.
Took him here as he wasn't eating properly and struggling to walk.
They kept giving him things for furballs.

Sentenced my cat to a death sentence.
Took him here as he wasn't eating properly and struggling to walk.
They kept giving him things for furballs.
Nearly 3 months we kept going back until we decided to try a vets in Penkridge. They immediately said what was wrong and injected a dye into his blood stream and saw a blockage caused by a tumor.
Left him there overnight for a operation but found out it was too far progressed and had to have him put to sleep.
If Melbourne vets had done the same we might well of saved him over them 3 months.
Bought some household flea spray from them last week only to find my wife had also bought some and already done the house.
Took it back 7 hours later for a refund to be told they couldn't refund the 25 as they don't know how the aerosol had been kept in them 7 hours.
What do they think I'd of done to it, microwaved it or froze it?
Never use them.
They are a rip off.

I have visited this practice for a couple of years now with both my dog and cat. I have always found the staff to be friendly, I know there are some cheaper vets in my area but I feel that like with everything else in life you get what you pay for! I can't fault the service I have received with my fur babies and I have no worries when I've had to leave them for the day.

Take all of my pets here (4 cats, 3 dogs and a rabbit). Cannot fault the service I have received there. Their healthy pet club scheme is great and really spreads the cost. Their staff are really knowledgeable and genuinely care and even the cats love their visits to the vets! Really grateful with their support in the recent weeks when one of the cats became ill.

Ted has mainly seen nurse Catherine at the healthy puppy clinic. She's lovely, helpful, knowledgeable and always kind to Ted, as he gets in an awful state! Why he does, I don't know.

Overpriced. Took dog in with a cut and they claimed she needed stitches, but first that she had to be seen twice with bandage changes and medication each time and then the third time to put stitches in.
Easy to say when it costs 80+ each time.
Took to another vets and in just two visits dog is patched up and better.
Will never use again, extortionate to the point where they're taking liberty.

Nearly 3 months we kept going back until we decided to try a vets in Penkridge. They immediately said what was wrong and injected a dye into his blood stream and saw a blockage caused by a tumor.

I have visited this practice for a couple of years now with both my dog and cat. I have always found the staff to be friendly, I know there are some cheaper vets in my area but I feel that like with everything else in life you get what you pay for! I can't fault the service I have received with my fur babies and I have no worries when I've had to leave them for the day.
