I have brought all my pets here and have always had the 5 star treatment. I recently visited with my Dalmatian, star, for a free nurse clinic as I am on the healthy pet club. I saw a nurse called Ella who was very good with Star. She did a thorough health check and was very helpful with her advice on coping with my dogs old age. Absolutely crap, they don't care for your pets only your money. Still waiting for the vet to ring back from 3 days ago with results from a urine sample. The snotty cow on the desk looks you up and down when you walk in. If my pet wasn't so old I would be changing vets at the blink of an eye. Read Less

We joined the vets on a recommendation, never regretted it. Both our cats and dogs are well looked after. They do drop everything for an emergency so we have been waiting sometimes however in our view it means if we were the emergency(and we have been) they will do ball they can. We also have had to use the emergency vets which are also very good. Read Less

MY PUPPY DIED DUE TO THIS VET TURNING US AWAY WITH 'WORMER' FOR NOT SEEING PARVO SO PUP SLOWLY SUFFERED AND DIED!!!! NEVER WILL FORGET IT OR GET OVER IT! Excellent Experience with Beechwood Vets (Kidsgrove) October 2013, AS ALWAYS. I've had my 2 cats with then for 5 years. Sadly, my younger cat got seriously ill recently (tumour in intestines) and eventually had to be put down. The vets were extremely kind and compasionate and were always acting in the interests of my very sick cat. I think some vets would have chosen to operate, despite her lack of weight and the strong likelihood of her not surviving the anaesthetic. The decision to let me take her home and try to build her up gave her the best possible chance, and for a few days it seemed to work.
