We offer friendly and personal pet care, along with modern, well equipped quality facilities.
The Blue House team spoil our pets as you spoil your own, and see you as part of our practice, rather than as just another pet owner. Personal relationships and case continuity are important, and we will endeavour to ensure that you see the same vet at every consultation wherever possible. A different face every time you visit us is not how we like to work.
We like to involve you in your pet's care, with full explanations of your pet's treatment plan. We believe that you should understand why we do what we do! Consultations are by appointment, ensuring that you get a full and proper explanation every time you visit us. Double-length appointments are allocated for all new clients and puppies/ kittens, allowing us get to know you (and your pet) properly.
We handle our patients with care and compassion, and aim to never upset your pet. If your special pal enjoys coming to see us, the whole experience becomes more rewarding for you, for us, and for your animals. We like your dog to pull you into the surgery (though second thoughts once they enter the consulting room are not unheard of!) If your pet is particularly frightened of anything associated with a visit to the vets, please let us know in advance, so that we can address the issue.
We welcome new clients, as well as familiar faces. If you are unsure whether or not you would like to come to us, feel free to call and have a chat. We would be delighted to show you around our facilities and explain how we work.

They have been our vets for our cats since we moved here over 12 years ago. They were recommended to us by neighbours, and they are brilliant. Vets nurses and all the staff are friendly. Vets are great with your pets, and when they've had new vets join, they've been just az good. The only thing they don't do is an out of hours cover, but not many do. Couple of our cats have had to have emergency treatment or operations in the past, the care and follow-up is second to none. Can't recommend them enough.

We sadly said goodbye to our beautiful cat Chester today. He was a real family cat, and we will miss him more than I can say. He was head of the household, both human and animal, for all of his 16 years. The family are heartbroken but know that his time had come to.leave us and we owed it to him to let him go, to be free from his pain. Thank you Kay for your professional and kind manner today and for treating our beloved cat Chester with such kindness and respect. And also your thoughtfulness to us to. My 13 year old son was able to say goodbye to his best friend in privacy and I thank you for this. Thank you Ann, Charlie and Samantha x

It's the best. Our cat Lucy came from the RSPCA with dreadful mouth problems. It cost us in money but even worse enormous worry. She had the best care from Blue House Vets. Last year, September when we eventually had to let her go it was done in the most caring and compassionate way by Kay, assisted by nurse Lucy, in our home as we didn't want to distress Lucy anymore than she was. We have recovered enough to adopt a mother and daughter just about four months ago and Blue House are our chosen vets again.

Blue house is an amazing place, although it's a 40 minute drive for me I would never take my fur babies anywhere else, Neil, Kay and the rest of the team are amazing, they have been brilliant with my dogs Phantom and Reggie over the past 9 years, in particular this last 12 months, massive thanks for all you've done for Phantom since April, I was beginning to think it was his second home , but thanks to Neil he's now coping with his condition and I've almost got my happy go lucky furry friend back, I will never be able to thank you enough,

Blue house vets is an amazing vets with such caring staff. I'm going back 5 yrs now when I had my lovely little dog Maxie; and one vet in paticular called Kay was brilliant with him; I'm not sure if she is still there now; but all the staff including the reception staff were always kind and caring with the pets that they had in their practice; in fact my little fella never minded visiting them as they were so good with him. I can highly recommend them and their prices are very reasonable. Thank you for all that you did for my Max x

They have been our vets for our cats since we moved here over 12 years ago. They were recommended to us by neighbours, and they are brilliant. Vets nurses and all the staff are friendly. Vets are great with your pets, and when they've had new vets join, they've been just az good. The only thing they don't do is an out of hours cover, but not many do. Couple of our cats have had to have emergency treatment or operations in the past, the care and follow-up is second to none. Can't recommend them enough.
