Had my dog consulted by Susanne and just found the whole think a ridiculous game to hike up the price. How a chihuahua at 14 with no teeth can bite fingers off I'll never know. Previous experiences have been good but this last visit just ruined the whole reputation of the Eaton park branch and veterinary practices in general.

I took our dog here to have an operation and having been given a quote I was asked whether I want other various options. I don’t feel I was qualified to make these decisions and was not told in advance I would have to. I was kept waiting and lots of people went in before me so by now my dog was quite stressed so I left. And had the operation done elsewhere.

I would like to thank Will and the team for the incredible job they have done on my cat, Milo's fractured humerus. After seeing the x-rays today, I'm even more in awe, Stone's very own supervet! Such a fiddly operation on such a small bone! I would also like to say a huge thank you to the lovely veterinary nurses and students who were always so welcoming, comforting and helpful whenever we visited milo during his stay, you don't realise what a big difference that makes. And to the receptionists who always have a smile on their faces and are always helpful. Particularly the on call receptionist who was so efficient, reassuring and professional during that first night we made contact. The post op care for milo has been and continues to be excellent also. All in all, a fantastic veterinary practice and reasonably priced too, I would never go anywhere else.

All the staff at shires vets have been amazing looking after our Labrador over the last week while staying in the hospital in stone, can't thank them enough, don't know what situation we would be in now if we didn't have them. I would recommend shires to anyone all the staff looked after us and the vets and nurses looked after our dog like it was there own, outstanding people. Thank you all X X

Very disappointed in the availability of Eccleshall services and having to travel to Stone, especially with all the road works in progress. I think wider advertising is necessary so that the public don't arrive at the Eccleshall surgery only to be sent on to Stone. Most upsetting.

They took more money off me than they were suppose to for two kittens that weren't even mine even though I mentioned they were not my cats. I'm extremely angry. Rude lady on the phone avoiding questions and telling me to go back to the bank even when I mentioned to her over five times I've been into my branch, been on the phone to the bank and even read my bank statement out to her! They were not very helpful and the only thing these vets are good for is taking money which they are not entitled to! I would not recommend this veterinary to anyone with animals of their own, heck even for animals which aren't theirs! You'll only be losing extreme amounts of money out of your bank and pocket.

In a freak accident she has sadly lost her eye but Shires could not have done anymore or showed anymore love to Sadie at a very frightening time for her and also supporting us whilst trying to come to terms with it . I took our dog here to have an operation and having been given a quote I was asked whether I want other various options. I don’t feel I was qualified to make these decisions and was not told in advance I would have to. You won't find a better Vets. The staff are fantastic and always willing to go the extra mile. Ted in my opinion goes over and above the call of duty. Emma always has time to talk to you with any issues you may have. In fact all the staff including the receptionists at Eaton Park are wonderful. Thanks guys you are all amazing
