Very nice waiting area clean and modern looking. Took are kitten for first check up .the nurse was very helpful and nice. The vet I found to be rude grumpy looked miserable had to wait a hour to see her and she had know idea why she was seeing us not helpful no care at all . Not going back again ! . Read Less

Really disappointed with the service. Don’t know what was wrong with the older lady on reception, but due to her attitude I drove home in tears. My family have been clients at Moreton Hall for over 10 years. I recently rescued a dog who is nervous and I called ahead to ask if I could come when it was quiet. The minute we walked in the door the receptionist started telling me my dog’s harness was wrong (it’s well researched, expensive and gentle, designed to reduce his stress). Despite my requests they kept me waiting over 20 mins and when I finished the receptionist saw me approach but carried on chatting to her colleague even though there was no one else waiting. My dog got so agitated that I told her I needed to pop him in the car and I would run back in to pay. She had a go at me saying it was irresponsible to leave my dog in the car in the summer. I told her I have a crate and would leave the boot open and I would be literally seconds. I love my dog and I certainly wouldn’t be looking to harm him - especially after spending upwards of £100 for routine checks on him at the vets!! When I returned after popping him in the car, she was grumpy and rude when taking payment. Please treat your clients with respect. I felt judged and the whole experience stressed me out. So unnecessary and I am moving to another vet because of it. Read Less

DO NOT GO THERE, they are only after your money!!! Our beloved dog suddenly passed away last week to what it turned out to be a pancreas tumor due to their neglect and greediness! When we noticed that she has jaundice, we brought her to see a young vet. He performed a blood test and scan which showed "a slight enlarged" pancreas. We've been told not to worry, give her medication and come back each week for regular check-ups (in which they just looked at her and said she looks fine!). Once we came back for a pre-arranged scan only to be told by Rob that the person doing the scan is not there, yet we still been charged a visit fee. Once the last scan, however, was done, it showed an enlarged gallbladder, to which we've been told to have it removed in their other Stowmarket branch. No other referral or advice! Stowmarket was very keen to book us into the stage that we've received the consent forms without been previously given a cost! Needless to say that we moved our beloved dog somewhere else but unfortunately it was too late! We have been with Moreton Hall for a while with our dog and parrot but alarm bells should have rung when we visited a lady for a routine check-up with our grey indian ringneck! She said that he is now turning green where he clearly was grey (due to a special mutation)... All I can say, if you love your pet, DO NOT GO THERE as they are only after money and not your pet's well-being! We have wasted about 900 pounds on their pointless "treatment" and useless checkups and scans which frankly, were done by incapable people! Read Less
