Very sadly we lost our beautiful Ridgeback Safi last month. Although we are still so upset and missing her terribly the vet we saw was amazing (sorry I don’t remember your name). I have used SRD in Felixstowe for as long as I can remember for all of my families dogs, very recently Mike has been looking after our beloved Lab, Mabel. He and the nursing staff have been absolutely superb, right through to the end! Visited Woodbridge and Ipswich a couple times with my African pygmy hedgehogs. Always had confident vets who adore my hedgehogs & really care about their health. Always greeted with friendly staff. Such a great shame that they have such great vets but then have a mark up on most of their drugs and flea/worming by over 200%. Please check out the prices on line before buying from this practice. I spoke to the Jo (one of the partners) and asked him why the drugs for my dog that she has to have and be on for the rest of her life are 60 per month more expensive than buying on line (even with the 11 prescription charge), HE COULD NOT JUSTIFY HIS PRICING. TRY AND AVOID THIS VET CENTRE All my animals have been coming here for years yes we WERE happy I suppose been using them for 7 years ..This year my cats x2 went for an annual booster in August, and a check-up as they do it. The so called experienced vet ( Big lady) havent got her name sure you will know who hasnt clearly checked my cat over properly as required and as she was apparently trained to was talking away when checking his heart beat and didnt even bother to hear he had a heart issue. He has passed away in November because he had heart problem and passed away in his sleep from a heart attack. If this so called VET WOMEN done her job properly my cat would of still been alive! I am left with one kitty now and she will NEVER be going back to that shit hole again! This vet is NOTHING but money grabbers all they want is money they cannot do a check properly AWFUL this isnt the end!Read Less

Fantastic team at the Woodbridge branch. I moved from another practice a few years ago now, and I couldn't be happier. It feels as though they care about my dogs, and for an owner who loves them with every fibre of their body .... that's important to me. Used their Felixstowe branch for over 20 years but never again. Misdiagnosed my dog causing her a month of misery and distress but the vet was so arrogant she stuck with her diagnoses of kidney disease and her treatment plan no matter what. After our complaint we were sent to the AHT where they had to keep her over night on an emergency drip, she actually had lymphoma and was given 2 weeks to live without treatment. I changed my older dog to another vets and they found out she was being overdosed on her Cushing's medication and was being pushed into Addisons. Made a complaint to their head office which was a waste of time, the reply I received was total rubbish and full of inaccuracies. The final insult to injury was the fact he constantly referred to my dog as a male, I think this demonstrates their lack of care and interest in my dog. Would never use again.Read Less
