Best in Ipswich regarding rabbit health issues. We still use them to this day with our current group of buns. Anything that needs a specialist, ie, full rabbit teeth extraction, they recommended the best surgeon in England. The two practices worked together to give our beloved rabbit the life she deserved. She lived for nearly 7 years thanks to Charles, Niamh and the rest of the team. Sadly, she died last year, but I know that they took care of Pye up until her last moments. I used Orwell Vets at Kesgrave for our Gerbils (we kept five males) when our children were small. They are highly professional at treating minor ailments and very sympathetic when it became kinder to euthanize some of the animals due to their age inherent, poorer quality of life. Highly recommend this practice , we have been clients for many years and have always found the staff , nurses and vets very friendly, helpful and sympathetic . Procedures and treatments are explained in detail so that we could fully understand which choices were best suited to our pets needs . We have on two occasions had to consult during out of hours service due to emergencies and have had to leave our pets at the practice for over night treatment . We left feeling confident they were in safe hands and the very best was being done for them . My dog had an accident and I rushed to Grange Farm after 9 pm. The vet at the Practice was unsympathetic, indifferent and aloof. He actually made us feel like we had disrupted his evening. At the high prices I have been charged up until then, I do expect more service from Orwell vets. He "explained" to me what had happened to my dog in a pedantic way by describing the condition using medical latinised jargon. In reality, what I need in a moment of stress such as that one is a vet that can clearly describe the issues in plain English, whilst showing a sympathetic bed side manner and reassurance, both of which I did not get. I would not recommend this practice as there are very good vets in the area nearby that charge half as much as Orwell do.Read Less
