I have used the Woodbridge branch for 5 years for my 4 pets and was very good however about 6 weeks ago my 15 year old dog became unwell I saw a locum vet who felt his abdom and basically said he had prostate cancer? His blood results were good but he had a urine infection he responded well to medication but 2 weeks later couldn't pass urine I took him back and saw another much younger lady vet who immediately scanned him and said his bladder was about to rupture I agreed for her to sedate him so she could try to catherterise him sadly she was unable to so with a heavy heart I said let him go while he was still sedated now looking back I have questions why did the locum vet not scan him? Because I believe if he had my boy could still be here today as the bladder could have been operated on and when his ashes were ready to be collected I was told I could only take them when I had paid £500 + pounds for the last appointment and euthanasia and cremation fees I was devastated as I explained I didn't have the full amount until the end of August when I got paid I was told by a heartless excuse of a human that when I went food shopping I didn't expect to not pay at the checkout! This was a part of my family she was liking to a bag of food😡 any way eventually I was allowed to take my boy home after paying half of the invoice there was no need for this to have taken place in the waiting room I did ask to go somewhere private but no the heartless woman degraded me in front of staff and customers at a very distressing time for Me! I will never take my pets here again and I will take this further if I am told that the first vet hadn't done his job correctly by another vet at a different practice I must also say I have never not paid my invoice when leaving 😤 Read Less

All staff are very understanding and caring towards the animals they treat, now that is what I like to see. Compassionate, friendly and easy to talk to. Let's hope this treatment I was given works too, so far so good. Read Less
