Have used this practice for 19 years and have never been treated so badly as this afternoon.
Prices have gone up a lot since the takeover by CVS but that has not bothered me, what I am utterly shocked by was the appalling service I received today.
I was asked to bring in my aged cat in order to get flea treatment for my 3 cats, no problem with that, they chose the time I was there on the dot.
The wait went on and on and my boy was getting distressed he's 16+ and can only hold his wee for so long. I asked if they could allow him to use a litter tray at which point the receptionist was dismissive, rude, surly and extremely uncaring and unhelpful taking the time to complain in my general direction about her working conditions and the lack of veterinary staff.
When I said I'd find a vet elsewhere as my cat was getting too distressed to wait over 35mins with no end in sight.
The receptionist then thought it appropriate to shout across the waiting room that I owed them money for the invoice, for flea treatment which they had not given me as they were unable to provide anyone to look at my cat.
I have made a formal complaint, this behaviour is unacceptable. For all the policies on Zero Tolerance for bad behaviour towards staff, which I totally support, they forgot to mention to this member of staff that clients and animals deserve a modicum of respect also.
If you are in this area I'd use one of the few still independent vets around and about.

Prices have gone up a lot since the takeover by CVS but that has not bothered me, what I am utterly shocked by was the appalling service I received today.
