I'm very very disappointed with the lack of help .about issues .I explained the problem many times .just failed to deal with it.seems more important in filling out claim forms.think before you take your pets here ? Main failings was commutation. With this vet .lack of correct advice about diet needs to and even failed to send all the correct test info to my new vet I changed too..what can you say ????. Money grabbing corporate business more concerned with revenue than Pet health. I had all 3 of my dogs boosters and a chip done in July (Not cheap), within the same appointment they diagnosed my 3 year old dog with a minor heart murmur and advised me to book an appointment to have another listen in 2-3 months (My other vet has never heard this Murmur but I obviously listen to them and I am aware they can develop). I phoned up to book an appointment for my female dog as she seems to have some discharge I asked if they could have a listen to the other dogs heart within the same consult (£40 for 15mins) and was shocked when she said no that would be another £40!!!!!! To listen to a dogs heart and check a pulse would have been fully achievable within this consult time and due to their greed they have just lost a local customer. £80 for what would have been 20 minutes consulting is not acceptable, they are quoting telephone numbers here. I fully understand business and companies having to make money but this is a clear effort to take advantage of a customer, this vet will just keep booking appointments until their all sunbathing in the Bahamas. Any company has a duty of care towards its customers and fleecing people in this way is fully negligent by taking advantage of an owners emotions towards their Pet in a time of need. The nurse I was speaking to had a take it or leave it attitude. Do people like this really care about your Pets??? I look to vets like I would a doctor and automatically give them my trust as they are in the business of animal health. No longer do I have that attitude towards Vets especially this practice, its seems to be a case of ''How can I extract the most from each person I encounter''. VERY SAD TO SEE!!!! Read Less

Absolutely fantastic vets. Staff are amazing and always so friendly. Just also like to say that last week we had our continental giant bunny put to sleep and a few days later we received a card in the post saying how sorry and they were thinking of us at such a sad time... Wouldn't go anywhere else. My old Lab went over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this week and thanks to the amazing service he recieved in previous years and from the vet who attended him for the last time, he was able to go to sleep with dignity,at home, where he felt safe. Read Less

We have been taking our animals to Cedarwood vets since the beginning and every time they have delivered a professional and caring environment. Cedarwood vets have been brilliant with my new puppy Luna. Luna was our first family dog and the help and advice that they gave us was really helpful. Luna has had an operation since we have had her and the quality of care was excellent. Luna loves being weighed each time she goes and the doggy treats are always welcome. Reception staff are very friendly and really helpful. Good range of dog food and equipment for sale as well which is handy. Luna is a member of their pet plan and for a monthly fee receives all her worm and flee treatment as well as her yearly boasters including kennel cough and free nurse consultations and 10% of all products that can be brought in the surgery.
