We have been with Ardmore vets for over six years now . Even though they are over 15 miles from our house and we have several other vets closer , we can honestly say that we would not go anywhere else. The staff are excellent , always friendly and helpful . When we first joined them we were sadly at a time of losing a rather elderly dog and cat . The way they helped us through this sad time was beyond what we expected . We now visit with two cats , our Oscar experienced a rather bad UTI last year and needed a couple of days stay and around three weeks of treatment and daily visits to the vets . We felt that the vet treating him went beyond just good care , she phoned regularly to check on his progress and to support us. In twenty five years of being a pet owner I have never found a vets as good as this. If you are looking for a good vets to be with we would highly recomend ardmores. Read Less

The vets and nurses alike are tremendously knowledgable which is obvioulsly gained through years of experience. Their guidance and advice has been second to none over the 10 or so years we have used Ardmores. Especially recently with our arrival of a new puppy. I recently acquired 2 working cocker puppies and wanted advice regarding homeopathic vaccinations. After speaking with my local vets and having no luck I did a Google search and found Ardmore were pro homeopathic care. Richard Davey (vet) from Ardmore called me and spoke to me for half an hour about possible options, even though he realised early on the possibility of me travelling to him was pretty slim (over an hour away). It's a rare thing to experience in this day and age, someone truly interested in helping, even when they know there is nothing in it for them.
