The only good Vet has recently left and they don't tend to understand your pets on a breed by breed basis. For example common Husky problems don't seem to be common knowledge for the vets here. 2 stars because their pet health club is good. Read Less

My poor little puppy has been so poorly this week and needed life saving surgery. The staff have been wonderful, very caring and allowed us to visit twice daily and not made us rush to leave. I'm a bit of an vet expert having lived in NYC, London and Essex. For better or worse my dogs have had many different vet experiences. We have a vet in Colchester but we found Mulberry because our Dachshund, Rufus, needed specialist dental treatment. Mulberry were fantastic. They scheduled him for the next day as it was an urgent, ongoing problem that wasn't improving. Dr Gerhard Putter is beyond excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable, with fab people skills. He clearly loves animals and so detailed. He took over an hour to explain the treatment to me and the current science and rationale behind it. I was impressed. The treatment was decisive, effective and thorough. Rufus made an immediate improvement and has continued to improve where other treatment had failed. When I picked Rufus up, Dr Putter showed me the X-Rays, explained them to me and went over the post-op in great detail. I felt as if I'd had a science/medicine lesson. V. interesting. Clearly Dr Putter is an exceptional specialist - dedicated, expert, kind and skilled. I'm sooooo glad I didn't travel up to the larger dental hospital in London where I think it would have been more impersonal. I've had to reschedule a few appointments and they couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Such lovely staff. Rufus is my everything so, thank you! Rufus thanks you. So glad I found you. I have three animals looked after by Mulberry Vets for the past 3/4 years. HARVEY. A german shepherd/collie cross. Age 12 years. ELLE. A Siamese cat with renal failure. Age not known. NIPPER. A pearly, or maroon bellied conure. Age 17 years. Harvey & Elle are both members of the Pet Health Club. Harvey keeps very fit, Elle is permanently on medication. Nipper thought he was too superior for that. But he does let the vet trim his beak & tallons, every 3 months, without biting him. The receptionists are always cheerful & ready to help, it's always a pleasure to visit. The pets probably would NOT agree. Read Less

Fantastic care, very sympathetic and expert vet. We came all the way from Cambridge and the clinic and vet did a wonderful job of looking after our cat Nelson and even stayed open longer on Saturday just to make sure he was ok. Three years on & I haven't forgotten the terrible treatment of my beloved dog who died hours after his last visit. Symptoms were ignored & upon gaining his medical notes from this vet, I was devastated to read they had held back on a test that may have saved him & hadn't even mentioned it while he was there - why? Because they thought they knew our financial situation better than we did! We had not long moved to Suffolk & had they bothered to get his records from his previous vet, they would have found very different. His records from Mulberry Court are full of fabrications & assumptions. The treatment he received was appalling. I would advise owners to ask for their pet's records & compare the notes to the care they believed they were receiving, because you may find they had problems that didn't exist & the ones that did, weren't treated. I am so thankful for the time given to my cat diesel in the past 2 months. From day 1 they couldn't do enough for him and when I got told best option I had was to remove the lame leg. So my full trust went in them. And now my boy is full of beans again. For now anyway. And I know it's not for ever as outcome is cancer but thanks to all staff they have given me longer with my boy. I have twice now had to take my GSD Zak to see Gerhard over a couple of years or so, due to broken infected canines. Did he take them out .. NO! careful, patient, kind and unrushed, Gerhard performed root canal each time, talking us through each stage so we understood exactly what was happening. I could write a page of praise. i have been with mulberry vets since they came to sudbury .they are the best vets my rotti TJ has spent many hours here he absolutely love Gerhard i only have to say his name and he sits up i would not go to any other vets highly recommend them and the nursing staff are brilliant too and TJ also has a very big soft spot for Donna . As soon as you walk through the doors the staff greet you with happy smiling faces and are very helpful . I know my animals are in the best possible hands at mulberry court xx Read Less
