I have been with the Ark for some time and have never had any issues, even if we have needed to use our insurance which can be an issue with some vets. Friendly staff who do what they can to help.

On 21st June 2017 our beautiful dog Poppy collapsed suddenly at home, we managed to get her to the vets in time and they performed emergency, life saving surgery. I can't thank Fed enough for her quic...
On 21st June 2017 our beautiful dog Poppy collapsed suddenly at home, we managed to get her to the vets in time and they performed emergency, life saving surgery. I can't thank Fed enough for her quick action and there are no words to describe the dedication, commitment and care that all the staff showed towards our beloved pet and us. Appalling customer service. Advised me to have extensive dental work costing circa 700 on a 17 year old cat - which then passed away a few days later from an apparently unrelated blood clot. Absolutel...
Appalling customer service. Advised me to have extensive dental work costing circa 700 on a 17 year old cat - which then passed away a few days later from an apparently unrelated blood clot. Absolutely no sympathy offered, no refunds for 'health pet club' membership they talked me in to taking out. Whole family furious that our cat was made to suffer at this age. Avoid at all costs - much better vets in the area.

I've been using this practice since 1996 (ish) and wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are always very kind and helpful. I've had a huge number of pets over the years and they've all been cared for very well. Not all of them have been insured but this doesn't impact of the level of care they've been given. It does make it easier if they are insured so my current pets are all now insured and if I've made any claims, Jenny has always been really helpful in ensuring Direct Line get all the information they need. I recommend you take your fur baby here for jabs, checkups and (hopefully not) any injuries/illnesses.

We had a very poorly Labrador who had managed to perforate his ear drum and Starched his face raw he was in so much pain and discomfort but the lovely staff especially jenny Kerr on reception dealt with us very quickly and kindly and the lovely lady Vet was brilliant with him, took him in and operated and sorted him out, she even rang me at home this morning to see how he was ! going to be a long recovery but thanks to the excellent care he received he's going to be fine! Highly recommend them !

I have been registered with Ark for 10 years as I returned from Australia with my Australian Kelpie Dog Chocolate they were wonderful with his last day of life Cancer got him nearly 10 years ago, but I bought another Australian Kelpie Puppy back in November and registered her with them, 3wks ago today she broke her leg in half (fib & tib), I called them at 9am and said I was bringing her in and they said they would be ready for her, which they were. She was operated on and I picked her up at 7pm, that was 3wks ago today, she is making an amazing recovery and was weight bearing within 48hrs.. I cannot Thank Ark enough for their Professional Care. I would however like to express my thought's on the cost of her Operation, luckily I could afford it but I feel for the many people that love their Animals and care for them like I do and would not be able to afford the very expensive cost of an accident like Bindi had. I live on a Farm and have 15 Horses, 4 Cats and 2 Dogs to Insure all of my Animals would mean I couldn't afford to give them the wonderful lives they have with us, I only wish to express that because I don't insure my Animals I feel for the Owners that also can't afford to Insure their's and couldn't have afforded Bindi's Operation would have meant she would have had to be put down...

I recently had to take my elderly dog to your surgery in burgess hill. He had a wonderful life but as a family we made the very hard decision to allow him to go to sleep. My 11 yr old son was with us at his request. Obviously we were all distressed. The vet and nurse that dealt with us showed such amazing compassion. The vet spoke to my son and explained with such empathy that what we were doing was the kindest thing a pet owner could do. The whole experience was peaceful and I would just like to say thank you for helping us through such a difficult decision. Your staff at burgess hill are a credit to you.

Appalling customer service. Advised me to have extensive dental work costing circa 700 on a 17 year old cat - which then passed away a few days later from an apparently unrelated blood clot. I've had a huge number of pets over the years and they've all been cared for very well. Not all of them have been insured but this doesn't impact of the level of care they've been given. We had a very poorly Labrador who had managed to perforate his ear drum and Starched his face raw he was in so much pain and discomfort but the lovely staff especially jenny Kerr on reception dealt with us very quickly and kindly and the lovely lady Vet was brilliant with him, took him in and operated and sorted him out, she even rang me at home this morning to see how he was ! going to be a long recovery but thanks to the excellent care he received he's going to be fine! I recently had to take my elderly dog to your surgery in burgess hill. He had a wonderful life but as a family we made the very hard decision to allow him to go to sleep.
