We're lucky to have such a great vets close by. Kate, Emma and the team have been looking after our spaniel Islay for a year now. Her condition is complicated and diagnosis wasn't straightforward but they've made the whole process as painless as possible via direct settlement with the insurer and discussing treatment with us at every turn to ensure best outcomes. Their network of specialists to call upon (including the legendary Fitzpatrick Referrals) has given us every confidence that we're doing the best by Islay. If you haven't got your dog insured, do it immediately! Read Less

Farnborough Practice, I would like to say that the recent visit to this vets wasn't favourable. My husband and I have two cats and have been loyal customers of this practice for the last 14 years. Our oldest cat at 14 years old became very ill last Friday. We took him to the vets as an emergency. The vet we saw informed us that he had a galloping heart beat which could mean water around his heart which could be drained. The vet offered to do tests. We informed her that we didn't have any insurance but at no time did she inform us at the tests would be very costly. The vet did tests at a cost of 550.00 without informing us of the cost. When we asked for advice on what would be best, the vet stated she wasn't prepared to give her opinion as she didn't wish to influence our decision. Both my husbands and myself were in a state of panic to see our beloved cat in such distress. We both feel that it is part of a vets job and duty to minimize an animals suffering and not to prolong it. Ourselves and many others depend on recieving honest guidance from a vet to help decide the best course of action to be taken when dealing with a sick animal. The last 24 hours of our cats life were traumatic for both him and us. Our cat was put through tests that were uneccessary in our opinion as the vet in question should have known that he was so ill from experience and that the chances of him recovering to have any quality of life was very poor. Money seemed to be the primary goal on this occasion and not the welfare of our beloved cat. Our cat was so ill that he had to be put to sleep less than 24 hours later. Myself and my husband would like to say a big thank you to the other vet who was so kind and undestanding when our cat was put to sleep last Saturday morning. I feel it is important to state that up to last Friday we have been satisfied with this vetinary practice. This may be due to having been seen by other vets in the past. I wish to add that yesterday the vet that we had dealings with phoned us to apologise for not informing us of the high costs that would be involved with the tests that were carried out on our cat.Read Less

A must for any animal lover. This practice puts the animal first every single time which I found almost unique. They are not motivated by money, but by giving the best treatment and care to their customers' pets. My GSD who was very "needy" had true friends with the vets and nurses at this practice and I would not hesitate to recommend them every time. I know beyond doubt that my dog received the best care and attention money could buy. True professionals and more importantly true animal lovers. Thank you Grazely Read Less
