We can't thank Milford Animal Hospital and Vanessa, the vet, who fitted our suddenly sick dog in at short notice last Sunday when we weren't even resident in the area - just visiting on holiday. It was Vanessa who discovered a lump in his abdomen, and after giving us lots of good advice and antibiotics along with a lovely sympathetic approach, recommended us to take him to our own vet on our return. She also made sure that all her notes went straight to them. It turned out to be a large cancerous tumour that had been growing, unknown to anyone for some months. Our beautiful little Toby had to be put to sleep this evening, but after 14 years of good health, he didn't suffer long, and had the most peaceful of endings. Thank you MAH and Vanessa, for alerting us. Read Less
