STUDENT UNSUPERVISED TRAINING GROUND, NO PROFESSIONALS BE WARNED, REAL BAD SERVICEI pay top money for a professional vet to see my kitten but all they seem to have is a different unsupervised student attending to my kitten every time i go there, never a fully qualified specialist. They prescribed eye drops for my kitten which are dangerous for her, luckily i changed my vets in time after becoming suspicious. Therefore i have changed my vets to an independent vet just down the same road called Cape veterinary clinic who are brilliant and i get to see the same vet every time with over 12 years experience. My kittens eyes were in a bad way for 2 weeks due to them giving her the wrong medicine. The new vet gave me a different medicine and she was better in less than a day. The vet that gave the wrong medicine to my kitten looked no older than 22 and she was definitely a student and she was not even being supervised and just making up her own mind and giving out eye drops which could have caused my kitten to have severe problems. On Sunday 20th July 2014 my 14 week old kitten fell out of my bedroom window during the night and hurt his leg. I took him to Pet Doctors where they diagnosed a fractured femur. They said they would keep him in for x-rays & observation. Later that day they requested I pick him up & take him to Woking on the Tuesday for an operation. I explained that I was told he would be staying overnight but they insisted I collect him & pay the balance due there and then. After telling them I couldn't get funds until the next day they told me my only alternative was to hand my kitten over to them where they would ensure he'd get the treatment required. There was no empathy & they were insistent that I paid immediately. I was so upset but I had no choice but to verbally hand him over to them. The following morning I called them & demanded my kitten back. My friend went to collect him, paid the bill and I took him to another vet where he was treated straight away. I am so disgusted by their treatment of me and my kitten! I would NEVER recommend anyone taking their pet there!! Read Less
