Our dog is extremely nervous at visiting the vets. Everyone there understands this and helps us deal with him. He had to have e a small procedure done and they sedated him but let us stay whilst he fell asleep. Makes me feel reassured he is good hands. New Malden Vets are the best. Their staff are compassionate and caring with animals. They have an excellent cat-only area, my cats have been treated superbly here and almost enjoy their visit! New Malden Vets picked up an infection in one of my cats missed by another vet and saved his life. I cannot praise them more highly. Read Less

Wonderfully friendly staff all round (front of house, vets etc), excellent pet care, good location and they make going to the vets a nice experience for the animals and people alike. When I was a small child I would always jump at the chance to go to the vets with my dad to take our family cats or me and my sisters hamsters. Now, at 20, with my own animals I will come and I can say hand on heart that it is the most professional, warm and welcoming veterinary surgery I have ever been to. Having studied animal management, and working in the animal care industry, I know how different it can be and I always know that when I see a vet from this practice I can have confidence and faith in what they tell me as they are all so knowledgeable and truthful. And the reception staff top it off with such a welcoming atmosphere and make every encounter personal and like they've always known you. A few months back I unfortunately had to make the decision of putting to sleep my 4 and a half year old gerbil and Catherine, the vet, was brilliant and was so sympathetic and reassuring and the receptionist, Alison, was extremely caring and understanding. I just want to say thank you, not just for today, but for the many years I have been with you. Anyone looking for a trustworthy veterinary practice where your animals will be thoroughly looked after and treated equal to human beings, I definitely would point you towards New Malden vets. Amazing caring very friendly staff, my dog is diabetic and they couldn't have done more to help him. Thank you everyone but especially wonderful vets Jacky and Elizabeth. They look after our dog and cat, and do so with good care and attention to their needs. A tricky diagnosis of kidney problems was explained clearly and they immediately helped her with medication and a new diet. Not pushy either unlike our previous vet who always seemed to be encouraging us to use drugs for every little thing! They also looked after our elderly cat and helped him when he was struggling at the end of his life. Great Veterinary practice, I have brought many rats and the odd cat to New Malden vets over the years.
