Kitten/Puppy Packs are a scam! Booked in under the Kitten Welcome Pack. Vet wasnt good at answering questions and wasnt reassuring. I've been with much more compassionate and caring vets, who are confident handling the animals. Vet advised to return in a week for her Vacs so I ended up being double charged (£49 for the kitten pack and then £50 for the 20 min consultation). Not happy as the experience was very poor but expensive. Avoid! Pet Doctors or Kingswood vets are much better and in the local area. Read Less

I feel my experience at the Woking Vets4Pets was not a great one. First of all I called up to book my female rabbit in to be spayed. I was booked in for Friday morning no problem and told to bring a little bit of bedding and dry food and that she was fine to eat and drink before her operation. So I bring her in on the Friday and I'm called in to the consultation room, first thing the lady says was when was the last time 'he' ate? I said first of all it's a girl and she ate this morning. She continued to call my rabbit a 'he' throughout the consultation. She proceeded to tell me that she was not supposed to eat anything before her op, to which I said the receptionist said it was fine for her to eat dry food and drink water. She again told me this is wrong I shouldn't have let her... so there I am a little shocked as clearly the nurses don't talk to the receptionists and put across what's right and wrong. It wasn't my fault I wasn't to know she couldn't eat? I was told clearly yes she can eat dry food and water only. Moving on the nurse checks my rabbit over everything is all fine and healthy. She asks me if the reception told me anything else about the op or when to pick her up? Of course I said no ... I haven't been told anything. She takes Suki out the room ready for her op and comes back in. She said okay you can call at 2 or just pick her up at 4 she will be done by then. A little confused I said okay and thanked her and left. Around 2pm I called the vet to check on her progress, the receptionist said yes she is done and ready to be picked up. Wow surprising, she's done at 2 not 4 when I was told she'd be finished. Feeling uncomfortable from my first visit I decide to bring my mother along for support, we go into the room to speak to the nurse. Again she explains that the neutering went well and 'he' is okay. Mmmm? I mean I was standing there thinking have they given me the right rabbit? I said clearly 'she' ...she should of been spayed. The nurse didn't acknowledge this and carried on called Suki 'he' she explained that 'he' was okay the op went well and I could take him home. She gave me some medicine to put on the rabbits food... oh and then remembered to tell me how much to put on there once I started reading the label. That was it... no other advice nothing to say to me. Luckily my sister in law has quite a few rabbit herself and advised me she was not to be put on wood chips or outside in the cold as she wouldn't be able to regulate her body temperature when she's been under the influence of anesthetic. Okay a little confused about that one so I proceed to pay, notice the sticker on the carry box she's in.. Mr.Turner my details, Mr.Turner on everything, my letters and now once I've been in. I had a phone call too 'hello Mr Turner' I said sorry do I sound like a Mr? I asked the lady at reception to change it as I couldn't understand why anyone who's interacted with me at the vet especially the nurse who's seen me didn't think oh that's says mr. I'll change it. Overall experience just sloppy. Disappointing and uncomfortable. Didn't feel like I was being treated with care to be honest. I use pet doctors for my cat but I thought I'd use vets 4 pets with my rabbit as I got her from pets at home where you are located at Woking. I must say it's not inticed me to come back anytime soon. Although I have a check up on Monday for Suki ... let's hope that's a bit more welcoming. Read Less
