This does not allow me to give 0 stars which Premier Vets deserve. My lovely black Labrador Molly has had a number of lumps removed over the years and I mentioned a lump on her stomach to premier vets. I was assured that this was a fatty lump and they took a biopsy and results back within 1 week did not hear back till over a month later after I quizzed them. They apologised for thunder In order to take the biopsy mols was shaved in the wrong places and then the practice junior came out and talked to me rather than the vet. But the big thing is PV go on about compassion, molly hurt her leg on my birthday and couldn’t move PV would not see her till end of week and phoned another vet up who said PV had a duty of care and they still refused to see her. Luckily the other vets saw her and I wouldn’t recommend Premier Vets to anyone for their animals. Read Less

Our experience of Primier Vets has been incredible. 5 stars are not sufficient to describe the quality of care and professionalism that is provided by the staff. Poppy our irish terrier has been poorly for some time. She has been expertly monitired and medicated to improve her quality of her life. On monday poppy deteriorated so we had to take her to our vets. Poppy was treated with dignity and compassion. The surgery was closed whilst the procedure was done. She die peacefully. She came home to be buried. We are comforted having her near us. This morning we recieved a lovely card with a beautiful poem inserted from priemier vets. How thoughtul of the staff. This is indeed the best practice in the north east. The staff bear all the hallmarks of expert practitoners who ensure pets recieve the essential and enhanced care they require. Thank you very much. Best wishes Maria and Roger Barrell Xxx Read Less

We moved to this practice under 2 years ago from another one in Gateshead . When we've taken our cats we think our pets have had good treatment at a reasonable price . Last week one of our cats was put to sleep which was very upsetting . The vet and two assistants were so kind and compassionate . Today we received a sympathy card with a touching poem from them . That never happened at the other practice and it's things like this that make the difference . We hope not to have to go too often but would recommend Premier vets to anyone . Read Less
