Westway Veterinary Group is a long established veterinary practice based in the west of Newcastle Upon Tyne with branches throughout the North east. Absolutely shocking customer service the dog every year with the cold weather gets a ear infection. They have give me the sane medication every time so the last time i was there the vet said next time this happens just ring up and tell them your having the same problem and they will do you a repeat prescription over the phone to pick up the same so you dont have to pay for the dog to be seen like the last four times. I told the reseptionst and she was no help at all so she put the vet in called Fiona Dixon she had a right attitude towards me and said in her exact words im talking bollocks then hung up. Tell you what they dont care about the well being of animals only the pound sign's disgusting attitude i would leave zero stars if i could

My lovely little hamster died last night, after talking to a lady at the emergency vets in Newcastle this morning she told me they charge £30 for to send off for cremation and more if you want the ash...
My lovely little hamster died last night, after talking to a lady at the emergency vets in Newcastle this morning she told me they charge £30 for to send off for cremation and more if you want the ashes back.
Rang at 2pm when the Houghton branch opened and a lovely woman whose name I didn’t catch told me it was around £50-£90 if you want the ashes back. I said I would mull it over on the drive there and tell them when I was arrived what my decision would be. When I was there I said I would just like him sent off with a little note and cremated, she told me that she spoke to her manager and they decided to do it for free as I wasn’t asking for the ashes back. I was so incredibly moved by this and I cannot explain how kind this simple gesture was. Amazing staff and very happy despite the circumstances. RIP Humphrey, my angel.

My lovely little hamster died last night, after talking to a lady at the emergency vets in Newcastle this morning she told me they charge £30 for to send off for cremation and more if you want the ashes back.
