To make everyone aware. If you want this vets to cremate your beloved baby. Make sure you get a date you all agree to return their ashes. They don’t take peoples mental health and how it effects them into consideration when you ring on a Friday to collect, then turn round and say “sorry she hasn’t been cremated yet, she’ll be back next week” then tell us not to worry, she’s in a cool room (fridge). If this was your son or daughter getting cremated to be told not today they’ll be done in a few days. There would be an uproar. I’ve come to realise when your baby’s passed, blythman and partners stop caring as you’re baby won’t be making them any money again. Also to leave the receptionist to apologise for their mistake is wrong. Shame on you Blythmans shame on you Read Less

Avoid like the plague. Their main concern is getting money out of you and not the welfare of your animal. We noticed an issue with our dogs leg and they dragged their heels in getting it diagnosed. Very unprofessional vets and snobby, unhelpful receptionists. Ended up going to a different vet where they discovered our dog had a broken leg and needs surgery. Thanks to blythmans our dog has been suffering needlessly for weeks. They also like to charge you and then not give you an itemised bill so that you know exactly what you are paying for. They also offer zero assistance with pet insurance, but they are quick to accept debit or credit card mind you. You’re better off using Westways, TyneVet or anyone else but be please avoid these clowns. Money grabbers, nothing more! Read Less

Avoid like the plague. Misdiagnosed my dog and missed the signs of my dogs illness despite me pointing out to the vet he was going blind and had difficulty standing. They kept him in overnight and called next morning saying my dog had a neuro problem. I picked him up from Gosforth and he had rapidly deteriorated overnight, totally blind and unable to walk, yet not one member of staff bothered to call earlier to tell me. Diagnosed my dog with pancreatitis and it was later confirmed by another vet he had fluid on the brain. My 6 year old boy has since had to be put to sleep. A complaint has been sent but they've not had the decency to reply. They use far too many vets straight out of med school with no experience. I am still awaiting a reply regarding my complaint. If you value your pets life do not use these vets Read Less

I've been going here a long time and previously reviewed as 4 stars. I go here because they can deal with pet chickens as well as my cat. However most recently I took my chicken in and vet I saw knew less than me - charged me way more than they used to and advised me to see a different vet (one in the middle of high risk bird flu area). Unsure if I should give my chicken prescribed antibiotic I called back a day later to ask for second opinion of a vet that might know more about chickens. Promised a call that never came - called back and again promised a call that never came. I will try again tomorrow I will also be seeking a new vet.
