What an absolute shambles of a vet practice - AVOID! Taking my cat here has caused huge amounts of unnecessary pain, distress and exorbitant fees, which all could have been avoided had I just gone to another vets. Mille Archibald did not inform me that she broke the canine tooth that she was extracting (nor that a root tip could have been left in situ) until the gum flap had necrotised and dehisced 7 days after the procedure - this goes against RCVS policy. The practice lied to me twice about having x-ray machines, again going against RCVS policy. They failed to pick up a secondary infection on 3 separate occasions. They did not refer me to a place with an x-ray machine on the first two times that I requested, which goes against RCVS policy. When I complained about this, they closed ranks and lied to me about what had happened to cover their own backs so they didn’t have to refund me for poor service. Absolute despicable behaviour and am complaining to RCVS and VCMS about this. Read Less

Needed simple supports for my dogs legs. Went to collect them and they had bungled the measurements and got the wrong ones. Went back a week later and they had bungled the appointment time. Rather than just deal with the situation they told me to come back for a third time. It seems wasting my time is irrelevant to them. I am just lucky i was trying them out on something that was neither complex nor an emergency. With a vet that can't measure and a receptionist that can't get an appointment time right, i just dread to think how they would cope with a complex operation. Read Less
