Haven't got a clue!!! I took my dog in on a Tuesday with a swollen stomach, the vet wanted to x-ray him, take bloods, and drain the fluid from his chest and then bring him back the next day. Went back on the Wednesday to say there not sure what is wrong with him so wanted to do another blood test and an ultrasound scan. Vets said she wasn't sure still but it could possibly be a tumour on his heart or and infection or heart disease and said he was in a critical condition and for us to think about saying goodbye to him. After having loads of tests & they still didn't give us a straight, defiant answer to exactly what was wrong with him, but they obviously knew. Just kept fobbing us off & conned us out of hundreds of pounds, for no straight answer. After some medication he was all better and back to his normal self after only a few days. So glad I didn't take the vets advise and got him put to sleep!! Read Less

Great service from vets but extremely inconsistent service at the desk and a very high turn around of desk staff who are obviously trying their best but something is going wrong (over worked, not enough knowledge, lack of training, low pay?) I had mentioned this to a few of the vets including the manager but the service never got any better. when ringing up - staff can rarely find your pet on the system Even if you give their full name and your address and are unsure of the medication your pet is taking once they have found you on the ststem, I have been overcharged in error on a few occasions (£70 for 2 tins of cat food and I was told by 2 members of staff that this was correct when I checked) I have changed vets and the service on the desk is second to non they have worked there a long time, are confident, very efficient, knowledgable and know exactly who you and your pet are and their history - the vets are equally as good and have identified a disease they are now treating my pet for - that vets for pets didn't identify over a good 6 year period. To sum up - great vet service but lack of good manAgement leading to inconsistent and frustrating service on the desk - probably through no fault of their own. Read Less
